About This Space:

Welcome to Sunset Cove! Need a basic place at a great value in a great location? This one is it. This is a TRUE 3-bedroom home with a classic layout. We are not a large property management company. You will be interacting directly with us during your entire stay, and we personally handle any questions or concerns. This is our family home away from home, and we would be honored for you to be our guest!

It’s perfect for a larger family, or even two smaller families. It can accommodate 8 guests and has a pull-out couch and a twin air mattress for a touch more sleeping space when needed.

One of the biggest draws is the convenient location!
 2 mins to the Trolly Pickup – FREE PARKING and head into Gatlinburg & 100 other possible stops!
 8 min drive to downtown Gatlinburg & Anakeesta
 10 min drive to Pigeon Forge
 14 min Drive to Smoky Mountain National Park! (You can also take the back way to avoid the parkway all together)
 16 min drive to Dollywood

House Layout & Details

Entering off a covered side porch, the main level allows for an ideal entertaining flow between the open kitchen and cozy living room area. To help start your visit, we offer a complimentary welcome basket with a few snacks, waters, and Keurig cups!
The kitchen is fully stocked and comes equipped with stainless steel appliances, cooking utensils, Keurig coffee maker, and all the basic kitchen needs including basic spices and oil for cooking. The dining table seats 6 guests, and a gas grill is available for the grill master of the house just outside.

The living room offers an easy start gas fireplace, full-size couch and loveseat as well as recliner. Lay back and enjoy an extensive ‘retro’ collection of DVDs (located upstairs in the bunk room) or access your favorite shows on a streaming app.

Down the hall, there’s a spacious bedroom with a king-size bed, 50-inch Smart TV and a full bathroom (with tub). Have littles? We have a pack & play & high chair to help you make room in the car. The closet in the hall is stocked with family board games, extra chairs, and a cornhole set.

Upstairs there’s a full bathroom and two large bedrooms. One with a king size bed, and the other is a kid’s focused room containing a Queen over Queen bunk! The kids’ room includes a 65 inch TV with PlayStation systems and 2 arcade games!

Outside is a wrap around porch to take in a beautiful, wooded neighborhood. Several seating areas to enjoy your morning coffee or wind down at the end of your day. The Hot Springs brand Hot Tub fits 4-5 people and offers fun lighting and jet pressure settings. It’s drained and refilled after each visit and ready for relaxation!

The Drive Up to the House

Chalet Village is close to the smokies and therefore more mountainous than most areas in Sevier County. In snow or ice, the area and driveway require 4WD and chains but are navigated without concern in dry weather. The road up to the house is windy and steeper at times, and likewise with the shared driveway. The parking pad can fit 1 larger, or 2 smaller vehicles at most in the parking area. We have plans to expand the parking area and driveway soon!

As our guests, you will have complimentary access to multiple outdoor pools, tennis courts, and more offered at Chalet Village Clubhouses - all located within a few minutes’ drive from the house!

Frequently Asked Questions:

1. What Linens are included? – We provide linens for beds, bath towels, hand towels, makeup towels, wash cloths and beach towels for the hot tub.

2. What household supplies are provided? – We provide a starter kit that includes 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom and hand soap. Additionally, we'll also provide you with a roll of paper towels, dishwasher detergent pods, dish soap, a few trash bags, and laundry pods. You will need to purchase or bring additional items when the initial supply runs out.

3. What does the kitchen include? –The kitchen is fully stocked including a toaster, waffle maker, blender, crock pot, pots & pans, serving bowls and platters. We also provide a complimentary full coffee and tea bar. Regular coffee Keurig machine.

4 Do you provide a grill? – Yes. A gas grill located outside by the side of the cabin.

5 Do you allow pets? – No. We do not allow pets.

6. Is the hot tub cleaned after every stay? – Yes! Our hot tub is drained, cleaned, and refilled for every stay.

7. What time is check-in and check-out? – You may check in any time after 4:00 PM and you must checkout prior to 10:00 AM on the day of your departure.

8. How is the drive up to the cabin? - The roads are well maintained and paved. However, the drive can be intimidating for people not use to driving in the mountains.

9. Do I need 4-wheel drive? – Only if snow or ice conditions are present. As a rule of thumb for all mountain roads in this area, 4-wheel drive or snow chains is necessary in the event of ice and/or snow. We cannot predict what the weather will do. We are unable to issue refunds due to weather conditions.

10. What type of internet to you provide? – We provide unlimited high speed cable internet with Wi-Fi.

11. How many parking spaces are there? - A paved driveway to the right of the cabin can accommodate up to 1-2 vehicles, but turnaround is tighter for larger trucks and SUVs
