🏡 Welcome to our Sturgeon County Retreat, where estate living meets country charm and the convenience of city life! Enjoy the entire lower level to yourselves: a private entrance, 2,300 sq ft of open-concept space to spread out, and 9-ft ceilings that make everything airy and expansive. Sunlight streams in through wide windows all day, and full curtains let you cozy up with privacy whenever you like.

Our guest suite features one serene king bedroom and three cozy queen bedrooms. Each room includes a full-length mirror and generous built-in or added storage so you can unpack and feel at home. For comfort and privacy, every bedroom has both blinds and curtains to control the light just how you like it.

📽️🍿 Entertainment for everyone!

Movie night? Yes, please. The living room smart TV comes loaded with all apps (free Netflix+ included) to binge all your shows. Movie lovers will especially enjoy our home theatre, complete with comfy sofas and a DVD stash of the classics. Or, use the provided HDMI cord to connect to your laptop and play whatever you desire on the big screen!

Board game lovers will enjoy our huge collection of games, ranging from classics like Monopoly, Life, Twister, Scrabble, and Chess, to modern favourites like Telestration, Codenames, and Uno. Enjoy a dedicated book nook with something for everyone. Find classic young-adult series and page-turners for mature readers, for all genres including mystery, crime fiction, productivity, and even nostalgic Archie comics! Teens will enjoy Diary of a Wimpy Kid and other funny classics and popular series. There are also picture books for toddlers and little ones. Settle in and pick a story for the night! ⏾

A little ritual before bed goes a long way. Our Relax station is complete for borrowing a humidifier, essential oils diffuser, galaxy star lights, white-noise machines, yoga mats, face masks, etc, to help you feel relaxed and unwind. Simply borrow and return in the morning so the next family can enjoy it too!

🥘 Kitchenette & dining

There’s no full oven, but our kitchenette is fully stocked with hot plates, high-quality cookware, and chef's knives to comfortably prepare a hearty meal. Easy breakfasts, pasta night, or sheet-pan toaster-oven meals are even easier with our provided set of basic spices. In warm months, fire up the outdoor grill and eat on the patio!

🌲 Family-Ready Outdoor Space

Our home sits on 0.81 acres at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac with easy drive-up parking. The guest suite steps out to a large patio with ample patio seating in the summer to enjoy the big-sky views and the grill. The backyard is huge and provides room for soccer, tag, and unhurried coffee. In summer, our chickens cluck from a secure coop at the far end of the yard (come say hi). There are swings/slides for the littles, and a trampoline is also planned. A gate leads to a pond that often hosts ducks and geese. This serene, quiet neighbourhood is a perfect getaway for nature-lovers.

🌆 Estate Calm with City Convenience

In Tuscany Hills, you get the best of both worlds: tranquil estate living and the comforts of the city close by. Our home is set amidst the rolling hills of Sturgeon County, directly north of Edmonton and east of St. Albert. Catch the Anthony Henday highway in just 5 minutes! The huge Albany Market Square is only a 6-minute drive, providing convenient access to Walmart, Dollarama, Tim Hortons, Movati, a plethora of grocery and fast food options, medical/dental/health, banks, and so much more. Also close by are Red Willow Park, St. Albert Botanic Park, golf courses, lovely walking trails, and family-friendly dining.

Guest Access

Our guests will have full and private use of the entire lower floor, with direct access to our patio and backyard. Park in the front driveway on the left side of the home. A short set of exterior stairs leads to the side walkway and your private entrance. You will have your own space while our family live upstairs. If anything comes up, we are nearby and happy to help.

Interaction with Guests

If you ever need anything, message us through the app, and we will respond quickly! We are happy to help with local tips, extra linens, a forgotten item, or a small fix. If something urgent comes up, we are close by and can assist right away. Our goal is for you to relax, feel cared for, and enjoy a smooth, stress-free stay.

🔹 Please include all overnight guests and pets in your booking!

🔹 Dogs are welcome (up to 2). While the yard is very spacious, it is not fenced on one side, so leashes are required for safety. No cats are allowed; a $500 fee applies if a cat is brought on site.

🔹 Kindly don’t use our address for mail. For deliveries, choose door drop-off or depot pickup.

🔹 In-house laundry is available for reasonable guest use.

🔹 We can’t be responsible for items left behind. Please double-check before departure.

As a large family ourselves, we’ve set this home up the way we host our own loved ones: warm, thoughtful, and mindful of different preferences.
