This is an adorable rental. Lots of thought went into the detail. Very clean and cozy with everything we needed. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and spent the evenings relaxing in the back yard. The host was easy to communicate with and prompt with her replies to questions. We will definitely stay again on our next trip.

I absolutely loved staying at this location. The fenced in backyard was wonderful for my furry friends, there were lots of places to go for walks in which I felt very safe, and the accommodations of the home were just lovely. Julie was very attentive in answering any questions I had and the organization that she had in her home was easy to follow!

Very cozy home in a quiet neighborhood! Very close to Drury University, so an ideal location for parents visiting students. A pet friendly home with a large fenced-in backyard. Our host Julie responds rapidly to all correspondence and kindly accommodated a special request. We're planning to stay here again when visiting our daughter at Drury!

We highly recommend the Lynn House. Many short-term rentals are blah. Not this one. The home has the charm of older houses of its era, including hardwood floors, though its been nicely updated, Homey decor made it feel lived in, especially the genius of using old faucet parts for bathroom fixtures. Snacks left on the counter were particularly welcoming. The location was convenient for attending a Central High School reunion, part of which took place at Drury University.The neighborhood is quiet, and it was pleasant to sip coffee on the front porch every morning. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking breakfast, though one morning we walked up to Commercial Street -- something we wouldn't have considered when we lived in Springfield a couple decades ago. Amazing transformation. We'd stay here again if the opportunity arises.

Our stay at Julie's VRBO was more than wonderful!! If I could give her 10 stars, I would!! My friend and I left our husbands at home and we were on a "Girl's trip" while in Springfield. We felt safe and very much at home. The location was very convenient for all of our adventures. All the extra details and amenities were so appreciated and just another example of Julie's thinking of everything to make us comfortable here.Julie has gone above and beyond in communications...before, during and after our stay to make sure we that we had everything we needed while we were staying here. I was so glad to know that I could have brought my little dog with me too. That's a great added benefit for us dog lovers!We SO much enjoyed our stay here, that I'm looking for an excuse to come back to Springfield again soon, and I'll guarantee that we'll be staying here again!!

Had a great experience with this home & host. We were in Springfield for a family member's surgery. Julie knew this and offered to help in any way possible. She responded to questions immediately. We spent most of our time in the front room, got a great night's sleep on their beds/mattresses, and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. After we left, I realized I'd left some valuables behind and reached out to Julie. She not only went to the house and found them, but then met up with my mother-in-law to hand off until we could return. Thank you so much for going above and beyond, Julie!! We will be back

My wife and I stayed at the property for three nights in July of 2026. The property was excellent. The property was tastefully decorated, exceptionally clean and the host was very thorough in thinking of anything and everything a guest could possibly need. Julie, the hostess was very kind and took steps to ensure we were comfortable and secure at the property. The property is in the downtown area in a neighborhood of gentrification near the "Assembly of God Headquarters" and close to anything you may need or desire to do in town during your stay.Note that there is a large fenced back yard for your pet along with a small "mud room" at the back door to to ensure you have a place to clean your pet before it re-enters the main home. There is off-street parking in the main drive way and a comfortable front porch swing as well.Do not hesitate to book the property as it is a great value and Julie will take care of you well. She is not listed at a "Premier Host", but she should be for sure.
