Could have been cleaner, and the music was loud from next door at the American Legion( but good music). Everything was so close to us. Street parking was not available because of the Elks lodge and American Legion but we had the driveway. The host was in constant communication with us.

we just stayed for 1 night but when we walked in it was very clean had all the essentials that you needed beds were comfortable and had plenty of places to sit and vist

This house has super cute charm and great proximity to restaurants, beach, shopping and entertainment. Due to the buildings age and high ceilings the air conditioner struggled to keep up. For the price, there was more than enough space.

This was a beautiful historic home that accomodated the 5 of us perfectly. We stayed for a couple of days before our cruise and enjoyed that it was so close to the seawall and port. Raven was great and available when I needed her.. We will stay here again next time we visit Galveston! Thank you!!

We had a great stay in Galveston. The property was very historic and authentic down to the 1920’s gas heater in the living room. For the price of one of the old hotels you can get an entire house within walking distance from the pier and the strand. Highly recommended.

Property was filthy. The bathroom had mold all over the shower and curtain. Dust and hair were hanging on the walls and vents in the bathrooms. Safety hazards, area rugs with rolled edges, hole in the floor, cracked tiles in kitchen flooring. Never found smoke alarms. There is an American legion bar next door and they play music at all times day and night and they may as well be in the house with you. Home has not been maintained, has peeling paint off of walls. Whole house has hanging dust! Parking was bad. Shared driveway that turned out not to be designated to the rental. VRBO listing is not anywhere near what you get. Doors were filthy going into bathrooms. Looked like they hadn’t been wiped clean in years. I contacted the host several times and response over loud music was she could do nothing about it. She should let people know before renting in order for them to make the choice. I sent pictures of all the problem areas to host and requested some response, such as refund because it was honestly that filthy dirty. No response from host.

there was a stairway to upstairs that didnt have a door so we couldnt make sure someone could not come downstairs in middle of night. We did not feel safe. We were told not to dead bolt front door. And there was pictures of it being a haunted house on the wall that we were not told about.

You made all of this up? We dont have stairs going to another part of the house its a One story home? The picture was of the house when it was first built, i put it on the wall so people would enjoy seeing what it first looked like.

The property was very nice and had a very unique & quaint feel to it. The location was perfect in getting to the strip and a majority of the food spots. I will say that the a/c was not great, so be mindful if you're going rent in the summer time. Other than that it was extremely clean and accommodating to my family and I. Would definitely recommend it for a quick getaway and to experience Galveston.

The property is older and needs some improvements. The AC didn’t cool properly and the fans wouldn’t run without the lights on. We liked to have not found the I/2 bath or more like a water closet. But I guess for the price we got what we paid for!!
