Westin disappoints

Grounds are well kept-it goes downhill from there. No room service. No maid service. No where to eat or drink save the pool bar. Tons of screaming children. With loud children’s games preventing any peace and relaxation. Unmotivated staff. Like a ship without a rudder, one is left to wonder if anyone is in charge at this property.

We appreciate your feedback, John. We're very sorry to hear your experience was not five-stars as our team strives for the highest guest satisfaction. Unfortunately, due to ongoing Covid procedures, resorts are not offering housekeeping services for the duration of guest stays. Most are exclusively deep cleaning between check-ins and outs. Room service has also been a Covid-casualty for many locations, sadly. While the Snorkels Bar and Grill at the resort is the only option at the moment, many more restaurants in Cruz-Bay are available about 5-minutes away, which the concierge on property could have shared suggestions with you to pursue alternatives. As the Westin St. John is also a family-friendly resort, many activities are geared towards children. It may be the time of year for more kids on property. Our team can assist in the future if having a quieter season with a more relaxing atmosphere is what you would prefer. We do appreciate you working with our team, and hope that you had a great vacation nonetheless.

Not as advertised barely sleeps 6, black mold in bathrooms and smells of mold

This property can NOT sleep eight adults. This villa is the furthest distance from the beach, bar, and hotel features. There is black mold growing in both bathrooms and the entire villa reeks of mold. This was extremely disappointing.

A Week in Paradise

Amazing stay last week at the Westin St John. Our expectations were exceeded on a lot of levels. Our villa was located right beside the pool (Building 11), newly refurbished, and very clean. It was appropriately stocked with towels, amenities, and washer and dryer. Location was perfect for all things at the resort. Housekeeping service was only once a week, but I was able to pay for an additional service. Food at Snorkels (pool side restaurant) was very fresh and good. Drinks at the bar excellent. They are definitely still recovering and staffing appropriately from the hurricane damage, thus no beach or pool side food/drink service. I'm hoping that will be added by next year. Plenty of seating at both pool and beach. Kayaks, paddle boards and snorkel equipment complimentary at hotel water sports. The Mango Deli is fine for a light breakfast and coffee each morning. We used the gym every day and it is really nice and has everything you need for a good workout. Did not use the Spa, but it was available. Taxi's readily available at the hotel. Staff was very friendly and professional. Will definitely be back!!

What a GREAT experiencr

We used Michelle from Concierge Realty to rent a Timeshare Condo at the Westin in St John. We had never done anything like this as were nervous: overseas and expensive with a company we did not know. Well it was FANTASTIC!! Michelle went out of her way to answer questions and ensure we knew exactly what we were renting. Then she even did an after hours conference call with the Westin to help me finalize a few things. She went above and beyond and I not only 100% trust her and her company I plan to use them many more times in the future! Our trip, the room and the experience was more than we ever hoped for thanks to Michelle and her company!
