Located in East Stroudsburg, this house is a dream for guests seeking a tranquil getaway. Sip your coffee while watching our neighborhood deer frolic in the yard. We leave deer corn to feed them so you can see them up close. With three bedrooms, including two queen beds and a fun bunk bed, there’s plenty of space for everyone. The cool living room features a comfy sofa bed, gas fireplace and a smart TV for streaming. Perfect for relaxing after a day of adventure. Two bathrooms make mornings easy and stress-free. Guests enjoy a wonderful blend of comfort and convenience throughout the home. Whether you’re unwinding or spending time together, this house offers a peaceful retreat you’ll love. You’re sure to make fantastic memories with a stay at our place.

My husband and I have been hosting for 3 years on another platform. This is our vacation home. We love the house and the neighborhood but can't be here full time. We like knowing the home is being used and loved when we can't be here.

We enjoy all the winter sports; skiing and snow tubing at Shawnee Mountain and Camelback Resort. We love trail walking our dog through the many parks in the area.

We have 14 Grandkiddos that love staying here with us. Our game room is a big hit with foosball, ping pong, pool and air hockey tables. Roasting marshmallows at our fire pit and hot chocolate to warm them up after a long day of fun rounds up the day.

We also love the wildlife here. Our herd of deer are so friendly! We have named them! Hannah is the matriarch of the herd. Every season she brings her newest fawns by to greet us. We leave deer corn for our guests to feed them. They almost eat out of your hand!

When we are not hosting we run a non-profit for animals with a disease called Megaesophagus. We offer support to pet parents with this disease. We supply assistance to rescues and shelters with Megaesophagus animals. It is extremely rewarding to be able to bring awareness to the disease. We love dogs and that is one of the main reasons we offer our home to families with dogs. They are family too! Before we started hosting we traveled a lot with our dogs. It always seem difficult to find a nice place to stay with them. While many host feel like their home would be destroyed by allowing dogs to stay, we have found just the opposite to be true. Our guests have been extremely respectful to our home.

We look forward to another chapter hosting with VRBO and giving our guests the very best!

To describe our neighborhood in one word it would be "peaceful". One of the qualities we loved about this community when we were looking for a home to buy was it is a quiet neighborhood filled with beauty. We had stayed at a few places up in the Poconos before we bought here. We hated gated communities with loud cars racing down the streets. You won't find any of that here. Just birds chirping and the wind whistling through the trees.

If you are looking to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city or need a break from life at home, this is the place to be. Peaceful and quiet. If you are looking for adventure, our home is not far from restaurants, night life and sporting fun. We are tucked away in a secluded spot here in the mountains but everything is in reach!
