Romantic apartment in the middle of mountain meadows

Welcome to the Bergwiese Vacation Home. Our house, featuring two cozy vacation apartments, is located in the idyllic village of Vesser in the UNESCO Vessertal Biosphere Reserve in the Thuringian Forest. Surrounded by meadows and forests, you’ll find wonderful tranquility and unspoiled nature here. Hiking trails and cross-country ski trails start right at our doorstep.

The “Schwarzbeere” apartment is a stylishly furnished vacation rental with a private entrance for up to 4 people, featuring a spacious living and dining area and a new, well-equipped kitchen. There is one separate bedroom with two single beds, plus a sleeper sofa in the living area (150 cm wide), which, with its mattress topper, feels just as comfortable as a real bed. The new bathroom features a shower, bathtub, and toilet. Relax outdoors on your private patio surrounded by meadows and forests. Use of the large garden is included.

The vacation home is bordered on three sides by mountain meadows and forest. It’s perfect for hikers, nature lovers, and anyone simply seeking peace and quiet, a chance to slow down, and to recharge their batteries. You can access hiking trails and cross-country ski trails directly without having to drive anywhere. Explore the Vessertal Nature Reserve, which was recently named the most beautiful valley in Central Germany by MDR, and discover the unspoiled landscape with mountain streams, springs, forests, wild meadows, and raised bogs. The popular Rennsteig high-altitude hiking trail is located in the immediate vicinity, as are various attractions such as a horseback riding center and the Schmiedefeld Winter World with a ski lift, snowmaking system, and much more.
