Fantastic vacation apartment near the Kiel Canal

We are renting out our new, high-quality, and comfortably furnished vacation rental in the Kiel area. Quarnbek is a small town on the Kiel Canal and is perfect for nature lovers and cyclists. The Eider River and the Westensee Nature Park are nearby and offer great opportunities for fishing, canoeing, and swimming. In Quarnbek, you’ll find peace and quiet and be close to nature, yet you’re also just a 10- to 15-minute drive from Kiel, where the downtown area and CITTI Park offer plenty of shopping options. A trip to the Designer Outlet Center Neumünster is also well worth it. Hamburg is about an hour’s drive away, as are Flensburg and Denmark.
The popular Baltic Sea beaches—such as Falckenstein, Schilksee, Strande, Laboe, Schönberg, and others—are easily accessible by car from our vacation rental. The Kiel Canal is just a few minutes’ walk away and invites you to take a beautiful stroll along the waterway. Experience ships from all over the world passing by up close. You’re welcome to take the free ferry to the other side and, during the summer season, enjoy a delicious slice of homemade cake at the Obstcafé Warleberg.
The vacation rental is in a very quiet location and is situated in our house with its own entrance. The view of the greenery, the garden, and the inviting terrace (approx. 10 sqm) with seating invite you to linger.
Free parking is available right next to the house.

Our vacation rental is modern and equipped to a high standard, and with its 58 square meters, it leaves nothing to be desired. In the living/dining room, you’ll find a cozy three-seater sofa, a smart TV, and a dining table with comfortable chairs.
The kitchen is modernly equipped. Here you’ll find an oven with a ceramic cooktop, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a dishwasher, and all the essential kitchen appliances such as a coffee maker, toaster, food processor, electric kettle, etc.
In the bedroom, a modern box-spring bed (1.80 x 2.00 m) ensures a restful night’s sleep, and a recirculating air system, along with the window (equipped with a screen), maintains a balanced indoor climate.

The large, modern bathroom with natural light features a sink, toilet, and a large, glass-enclosed shower with a rain showerhead and handheld shower.

Storage space is available throughout the apartment: the living room has a large 3-door closet, the bedroom has an open wardrobe, and the bathroom features a vanity cabinet and ample storage space to accommodate all your belongings.

The entire apartment has a bright and welcoming design, with tiled floors equipped with underfloor heating.

Bed linens and towels are provided.
