Perched between ocean and jungle, Casa Selva Azul delivers breathtaking 360° views of the Caribbean Sea and lush tropical canopy. Your stay has been designed for relaxation, connection, and tranquility.

The estate is composed of four independent, yet intimate spaces set in a tropical botanical garden, all connected by a stunning outdoor common area featuring three pools, six tiki huts (kioscos), a bocce ball court, hiking trails, and a sacred Taíno Indian cave with natural crystals.

Neighborhood description

2 hours (by car) from Santo Domingo, Las Americas Airport, 20 minutes (by car) from El Catey International Airport and 10 minutes from Las Terrenas. Cosón is a community deeply immersed in nature. Framed by lush mountains to the south—rising over 1,000 feet above sea level—and the Caribbean Sea to the north, Cosón truly offers the best of both worlds: where the jungle meets the sea.

Playa Cosón is considered one of the most unspoiled and picturesque beaches on the Samaná Peninsula, ideal for sunbathing, surfing, kitesurfing, long walks, or simply doing nothing at all.

The surrounding Cosón mountains feature scenic hiking trails and authentic agricultural experiences, including visits to coffee and cacao plantations.

Just 10 minutes away by car, Las Terrenas offers shopping, arts, culture, and vibrant nightlife. Known for its excellent Italian, French, and Dominican cuisine, the town delivers a truly international dining scene with world-class food and service.

When renting the full 8-bedroom estate, Casa Selva Azul is 100% private. When the full estate is not reserved, guest may share select exterior common areas—pools, bocce ball court, outdoor kitchen, gym, and fire pit. The estate spans 10 acres, offering ample space and privacy for everyone.

Electricity in Las Terrenas is very costly. Selva Azul has AC and fans in all bedrooms. We ask you to turn the AC off when not used/needed.

Daily use includes 30kW; excess usage is charged $0.50 USD per additional kW.
We encourage the use of fans and open windows, for natural cross ventilation.
