Esta casa privada permite que fluya la belleza del Caribe. La casa tiene un plan al aire libre que tiene una vista espectacular de los pitones y el mar Caribe.
La casa tiene 2 dormitorios, 3 baños, una cocina totalmente equipada, mucho espacio para vivir y terrazas, una piscina y jardines cargados de árboles frutales y hermosas plantas con flores tropicales.
El dormitorio principal y baño adjunto se encuentran en el nivel superior con un balcón. El piso principal tiene una gran sala de estar / comedor con una terraza que se extiende a lo largo de todo el ancho de la casa que es perfecta para tomar el sol y tomar una copa al atardecer. El piso principal también tiene una cocina con sala de estar adjunta, dormitorio de invitados (con cama queen) y baño adjunto, un estudio con una cama de día y un baño completo.
La piscina tiene una gran terraza con tumbonas y una cubierta inferior cubierta anidada a la sombra de los magníficos árboles en el jardín delantero. Hay un área de cocina al aire libre con parrilla y comedor.

We returned to the villa for a second stay and it was just as good as we remembered. We love the open-air house, the beautiful gardens and the spectacular location. Most of all we love our on-site hostess and the others who maintain the property.

My family and I had an excellent week enjoying all of the beauty the Hermitage Jewel had to offer, from the pool, to the views from the deck and every room of the house, and with the birds and lizards hanging out with us throughout the day. The house manager, Tamara, was wonderfully welcoming, personable and a great host. She arrived every morning to cook us a delicious breakfast (she makes the best scrambled eggs!) and blend some fresh fruit smoothies. She gave great recommendations for things to do and helped coordinate some amenities for us. She makes sure the home is well cared for, and goes out of her way to make it more comfortable. It was a great week to spend exploring, relaxing and decompressing in a luxury “treehouse” feeling home on beautiful St. Lucia!

Items such as outdoor grill were not functional. The pool was dirty then when they cleaned it, the entire pool turned to foam for 2.5 days. Beds were a bug invested with mites and bed bugs, pillows were stained and had small black spots…

This place is a perfect getaway. We loved feeding the birds and lizards each morning while looking out over the Pitons. The ocean breezes made it cool at night (so no AC wasn’t even thought about). We walked to many fantastic places - Project and Hotel Chocolat, Drive in volcano (mud baths and view of “active” volcano), and Superman falls. Also, the manger arranged a driver for us during our stay who was very timely and got us where we needed without any hassle. Tamara was a great host and makes a smoothie for the ages. I totally recommend having her cook at least one meal as she prepares delicious local cuisine.

Magical views

We came to St Lucia to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary and we had an amazing visit. The Hermitage Jewel has the best views on the island and is close to every thing we wanted to experience. We had a warm welcome at the airport by Cletus and Tamara greeted us with a refreshing rum punch. We took others advice and had Tamara prepare our first dinner which was delicious.

Great Stay

The description and reviews were totally accurate.The view was straight from a travel poster, and Tamara was as helpful and accommodating as anyone could be.Don't worry about the roads, they are not that bad - much easier than St Croix or St John. However we were happy to hire Dave to drive us places.

It is truly a jewel

It was a beautiful vacation time. We were very happy with every smallest detail of property and management hospitality. Tamara and Brenda made us feel like at home. We already miss this place and we return.

We stayed for our honeymoon and it was absolutely amazing! Stunning scenery everywhere you turn. The property is very well maintained. Tamara and Cletus are super kind and hospitable! We would recommend renting a car to get around because the roads are so steep. Tamara arranged for a rental car to be dropped off at the villa for us, and we had a good experience with the company. The villa is in a great location for exploring around Soufriere provided you have a car. Short drive to places like Sugar Beach, the mud baths, and many more popular destinations. This is an indoor/outdoor living space, so make sure you are comfortable without AC and are okay with lizards and such. We had a fantastic stay and hope to come back again!

Tropical paradise

If you are lucky enough to get a reservation at Hermitage Jewel you will have won the vacation lottery. The villa is spectacular, views are out of this world (you really feel like you’re on another planet watching the sun set between the Pitons) and the amazing breakfasts and care by Tamara and her team is extraordinary. We try to come every year and I hope that’s true for many years to come. We love this jewel, both people and place

Our honeymoon stay at the Hermitage Jewel was perfection. Tamara and V made us delicious and fresh breakfasts and made sure we had everything we wanted and needed. We enjoyed renting a car and touring St. Lucia, the most picturesque country with beautiful weather!!!

This place was exactly what we were hoping for. Open air and very St Lucia. Tamara and Glenda are awesome. Their breakfast each day was amazing. Fresh fruit and local treats. The place sits above Hotel Chocolate with incredible views.

Incredible Experience

What an amazing trip. I just adore this spot as it’s our second trip here. The view is just breath taking. Where else in the world can you look at that view each morning and evening? A beautiful, hot breakfast and coffee to wake up to with fresh fruit from the garden. Tamara, the manager, and staff are just first class and make you feel right at home. The snorkeling and waterfalls were incredible…we can’t wait to come back. 💕

Just what we needed!

My husband and I were looking for a quiet place to relax and "reset" from a very stressful year.Heritage Jewel provided us with the perfect spot and so much more than we were looking for. Tammara and Cleatus treated us like long lost family members from the moment we arrived. We especially enjoyed being treated every morning for breakfast and great conversation.This hidden gem is in the perfect location. Who could imagine looking at the Piton and wanting to leave? But, for short excursions, there is so much to explore to renew the spirit.We look forward to coming back again soon!10/10

Amazing hosts- friendly, personable, and genuinely wanting to make the trip a memorable one. Thank you Tamera and Cletus! We mentioned that we were looking into getting a massage and Tamara had two masseuses arranged within the hour- right there on the property. We mentioned wanting to take a sunset cruise, and Tamara had it arranged with it the hour. The breakfasts were amazing and were the perfect start to the day..The views of the Pitons and of the ocean will blow your mind- even better than advertised. Plenty of space and every detail of the floor plan highlighted the amazing views. We enjoyed several hikes and several snorkeling adventures. St. Lucia is the perfect place to explore and unwind, and for us the villa along with Cletus and Tamera’s hospitality made it the perfect adventure. We strongly recommend this rental if you are going to St. Lucia.

Jewel of a Jewel

Hermitage Jewel is a gorgeous property above a lush rainforest set in a garden of blossoming birds of paradise and tropical wildflowers with a stunning plunge pool. We were hosted by Tamara whose warmth, kindness and spectacular breakfasts are one reason we keep returning to this paradise.

Exceptional in every way

I do not know where to begin regarding this extraordinary experience. Absolutely everything was first class, top-notch and exceeded our expectations. The staff, the gorgeous atmosphere of the rooms and property was like a dream. We are so grateful we got to stay in this special place. Highly recommend

Our stay in November was fantastic. I enjoyed every day in St.Lucia and at the villa. The whole experience was magnified with the Hermitage Jewell staff who were helpful in planning our trip and very welcoming once we got there. The views were fantastic and the property was private from other tourist and villas. The location was great, close drive to beaches, hiking, and waterfalls. We will miss Tamara, V, Duane, and Tamara's husband Cletus above all. We will be visiting St. Lucia again.

Private villa which is very romantic having spectacular views, near two excellent restaurants and bars with entertainment. Hermitage Jewel is near beach and town making it convenient to shop for provisions. Villa offers cooler temps because of high elevation.
Housekeeper provides a local complimentary breakfast, of fresh seasonal fruit, local coffee, tea, fresh smoothies, bread, jam/jelly, and butter, artfully prepared and served by Glenda 6 days a week.
