We had an amazing stay at this country house near Hocking Hills! The location is absolutely beautiful—peaceful, scenic, and perfect for getting away and relaxing. The house itself was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed.The hot tub was definitely a highlight for us—such a great way to unwind after a day of exploring. You can really tell this place is cared for, and it made our trip even more enjoyable.We had a wonderful time and will definitely be coming back again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet, beautiful getaway!

We enjoyed our stay. We didn’t use the pool because it was kinda green. The hot tub was nice but I don’t believe all the jets were working properly. But tester was clearer than the pool. All of us noticed a smell like a musty smell not the well water smell. We used all 3 bedrooms and felt the beds were very comfortable. My only complaint on the bed was the fitted sheet on the king size bed was too small. But all and all I liked our stay. Just a few minor things.

First off the hot tub didn’t work the host let me know about 12 hours prior to going but didn’t see it until I was there. Was told I could use the hot tub at a different location down the road! The pool was green with algae. There were no smoke detectors or carbon monoxide detectors in the unit there was a big hole patch in the hallway. It says sleeps 8 but only had 4 forks and 4 spoons to utilize that was fun sharing with 8 people! I contacted the host to ask were the propane tank was for the grill was told I had to provide my own tank. The grill was never cleaned from the previous tenants they used charcoal in the grill instead of propane. It was a nightmare from the first day. I could go on and on!!!

From the location, to the stay it’s self I don’t know where to start! The house is way larger than the pictures show; the hot tub is in a fenced in around so you feel secluded; there a semi private porch on the other side with a fun swing and outside furniture; the bedrooms are nice and spread out so no one is sleeping on top of each other and each with their own personality. The living room/dining room space others a perfect opportunity to feel together for making dinner and playing games or watching a movie together. The hot tub worked great. We did have the bubbles/lights turn off after 45 minutes but we just clicked the button and they came back on! The house has a fantastic location being 5 minutes from town and 15/20 minutes from all the cave trails! Perfect location to do a trail or 2 and come back for lunch and to rest before heading back out. The host was amazing and attentive by responding quickly and being available with anything we needed such as more towels, they even came and refreshed the house midway through our stay!! We are already looking at dates to book Olas place again this summer!!

I don't think I ever got a message with the door code (I did just get a new phone, but did check multiple times in a couple of places), but the host was very responsive when I messaged thru vrbo and let me know that was how it was supposed to work and gave me the code. Great size home, we had plenty of space. As shown in the listing pictures, the place is a little rustic and mostly functional. We spent about 45 min in the hot tub and it quit, we assumed due to a flipped breaker. The breaker box was locked so we couldn't check, and it was close enough to bedtime we just called it a night as we had plans to leave earlish the next morning. We only stayed the one night. This morning the kitchen sink clogged up on us but my husband was able to plunge the line to clear the drain. We weren't able to locate a dryer, which would be amazing in a place with a hot tub and an above ground pool out back for summer. Overall it was a nice clean space and we would stay again.

The house was very clean and inviting, well stocked and comfortable. AC worked great and the beds slept very wellThe driveway was very rough coming in with pretty deep holes. The pool needs much work. Algae needs vacuuming out and the filter needs to be back washed. The hot tub jets need a deep clean. Black particles were floating every time it kicked on. Screen doors were very hard to open and close, needs work or just removed. Over all we made it work, less the pool and for the price we felt amenities,ie...pool and hot tub were attempted to be up to par but fell way short. Thus the stars we gave.

Our stay was awesome. We hiked during the day and was in the hot tub at night. The hot tub wasn't warming up at first and I messaged the host who got back to me in minutes and told us what to do and it worked great. The hot tub was just in sleep mode. There isn't any fast food within 30min from the house but Mama Renies (5min away) has amazing food. Will definitely stay again! We didnt use the pool because it wasn't that hot out but it looked clean.

Stayed at the hosts Rustic Way location and I have to say this was one of the best cabins in the area. Clean, organized and had everything needed for a relaxing and fun stay. The host went above and beyond to make sure everything was in order before my stay. No need to hesitate with this location it is awesome!! I’m looking forward to trying all cabins this host offers.

This house is absolutely lovely. From the moment we walked in, we were surprised by how much bigger it is in person.There were pool toys available, plenty of super-comfortable seating, and a large hot tub outside with privacy fencing and curtains, which made it feel especially relaxing. I also really appreciated the ice maker. The home is thoughtfully decorated and feels cozy the second you step through the door. There are books, games, and I even noticed horseshoes available for guests to enjoy. My favorite part was the front / side porch area with a privacy fence and very comfortable and unique seating (There is a lay down chair that swings lol). The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the couch was too—we were pleasantly surprised to discover it converts into a bed as well. I ended up sleeping on the couch because it was that comfortable. Another huge plus is the location. Stores are only about four minutes away, which is very convenient for the area.Overall, I think it’s unfortunate when reviews focus only on the negatives. I was initially skeptical because of one of the reviews, but there are so many wonderful things to love about this home. I messaged the host about a concern and they were very quick to address the issue. We would happily stay here again. Most importantly, I felt right at home from the moment I walked in, and that’s a really special feeling. Definitely worth your stay!!
