Welcome to the seaside resort of Breege! Here you can see the “Treasure Island” of Rügen at its most beautiful. Located directly at the entrance to the Schaabe—the island’s longest swimming beach—is the former fishing village of Breege on the Wittow Peninsula. Here you’ll find a stunning marina, hidden coves and headlands, and a breathtaking natural backdrop with lush flowering meadows and pristine natural beaches. From the harbor in Breege, you can take a leisurely trip to the neighboring island of Hiddensee or to Ralswiek, where the famous “Störtebeker Festival” is held every year. Join Klaus Störtebeker on one of his raids at the open-air theater in Ralswiek and enjoy the nightly fireworks display.
