Nice place

Was a great place. Great location. Only issues were paying such a high cleaning fee but when checked in it was dirty and only thing was clean was the bedding and towels. Rest place was dirty.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Amazing property and location! But I wish they had more shampoo, body soap and conditioner and much better quality ones.

Disappointed 100%

We are very disappointed with our stay. We have been interrupted 3 times with ppl just walking into the house. Maintenance for home and hot tub. This is not appropriate when we pay to have a private home and random ppl just walk into the house! I feel very violated with not being able to feel comfortable and always worried that someone is going to just walk through the door! Not even knocking or ringing the doorbell.

Gorgeous windows but disappointing

Gorgeous property that has not been maintained. Upon arrival we found food from last renters in the sink, food between couch cushions and crumbs on the floor. The dinning room table sages and the bench has a rip in it. There were approx. 40 wine glasses and 5 coffee cups. Half the dishes had chips as well as some of the glasses. There is no room for groceries as every cupboard in that kitchen is packed with stuff. Yes I was very disappointed because it was not cheap. Onsite staff was very nice.

Great location! Beautiful home for group!

We were booked into this free standing condo unit after the one we booked was double booked. We were happy with the elegance and luxury of this Edge vacation home. Lots of space for two groups with three stories. (Even tho just the two of us).We enjoyed fantastic views and great skiing. Couple issues came up, the front door code had a difficult time moving the mechanism and deadbolt in place and smoke detector needed a new battery. Service came out and brought a battery (as the grocery was out of 9v) and worked on fixing the lock. Vacasa was very quick to respond to texts. Also the very high end coffee maker only takes beans. Store had expensive beans for 25 dollars but Vacasa brought beans for us, very thoughtful. A few suggestions would be to have a manual and journal for guests. Manual on best route for skiing (there is a picture on other listings in the same Happy Valley area of route to take in and out...we figured out but nice to have), favourite things to do, how to work coffee maker and other tidbits ...those personal touches are nice. Additional towels provided specifically for hot tub would be a nice touch. Tip for those staying...although there is no code FOR the garage due to security, when you leave to hit the slopes if you just hit the enter button on panel it will close the garage door behind you. Look forward to coming back!

Loved loved loved this place .. its beautiful, views are amazing, especially the sunrises. Wish we could of stay longer.

Amazing place!

Really has that wow factor. A few things need to be fixed though: 1) the bench in the living room has caved in so it hurts to sit on it 2) the towel warmer in the master bedroom is broken. 3) the exhaust fan in the kitchen is far too weak it cant suck out any smoke at all. 4) the wifi is like 5mbits/s it took us 30 mins to download 600mb. 5) there is no clicker/code given for the garage door. When you arrive the provided code is for the main door. Id like a clicker or code for the garage door. Aside from these things, we had an amazing stay. Would come back for sure!!!

Hi, Eric! We appreciate your feedback and have looked into all of your concerns. The bench and towel warmer have been addressed, and the exhaust fan has been cleaned out. The homeowner was on a 20 Mbps plan, but a 150 Mpbs fiber update will take place in time for ski season. It is true there is no remote for the garage as an added security measure for the home. I don’t even know where to begin with the cleanliness of the property. During this covid pandemic we expected everything to be clean and spotless. What is the purpose of a cleaning fee if nothing was cleaned? The utensils were filthy and we felt very uncomfortable using them. They were either broken or most of the utensils had old scrambled eggs stuck on them like they haven't been washed. There wasn't even enough dish soap provided to clean these utensils when needed. We were lucky that we had brought some of our own utensils in preparation for the worst case scenario, which ended up happening. The carpets and floors were so dirty that we came in and had to vacuum the entire place. There were pillows cases and towels with stains on them that were dry and old. The dinner table was dusty and when wiped, the Lysol wipes turned brown. We even had to wipe down the couch which had dirty marks on them. Tthe fridge did not keep our food cold at all. We changed it to the coldest setting and it did nothing. All of our food was room temperature and half of our food went bad. To work around the non existent fridge, we had to put food into the freezer. The photos posted describe what would be a luxury home, however, with the lack of working appliances we found ourselves more uncomfortable than relaxed. What confused us further were the two bedrooms downstairs that had tvs that wouldn't work. The tv is Sony but had Samsung controllers? We're we supposed to go for a scavenger hunt to find the correct controller for each tv? Again, we came to relax. I emailed them requesting a later check out on Thursday prior to our arrival on Friday and I did not get a response until Saturday (the night before we left). We had agreed I could check out at 7pm however someone still came and told us at 12pm that we should have checked out already. Coordination between the Vacasa team and response time to guests were highly lacking. Due to the lack of responsiveness we felt prior to arrival, we felt it would be useless to even reach out during our stay.If the Vacasa feedback in regards to a 10am check out is to ensure the next guests' 4pm check in is due to needing the time to clean then actually use that time to clean. If you have guests visiting, reply in a timely manner. Overall, I would not recommend any of my friends to stay here unless all the issues stated above have been resolved.
