Esta hermosa cabaña de troncos es la escapada perfecta para familiares o amigos. The cabin was comfortable and cozy. We felt right at home. I wanted to watch the CFP games and the setting was perfect with the fireplace. My son and future daughter in-law used the hot tub 2-3 times daily. It ran well.

I have to say, your son and future daughter‑in‑law may have set a new record with the hot tub. In their brief stay, I think they used it more times than I have the entire time I’ve owned the place. Perfect family vacation cabin! We were so very happy with this property. Conveniently located to the action in town, yet it feels private and secluded. The views, wrap around porch, beautiful interior, full kitchen, laundry, and three bathrooms met all of our needs. We would certainly stay here again.

It was nice, but it could have been a bit cleaner and more organized. Some things need to be fixed - door above stove, drawer in kitchen, washer needs to be cleaned, toilet seat tightened, freshen up sitting area furniture. With that said it was quiet and served its purpose

Great amenities! That grill is something else! Loved having the pool table to kill time while everyone got ready. The traffic was awful, so we walked to putt putt and mountain coaster.

Thank you for the great review. I’m glad you enjoyed the amenities — that grill really is something special. A good friend gave it to me because he wasn’t using it, and it’s a high‑quality stainless steel unit that I converted to natural gas. I appreciate you calling it out. The pool table is always a fun way to pass the time while everyone gets ready, so I’m happy to hear it got some use. As for the traffic, I agree it can get backed up at times. The warning light where the road meets Hwy 321 really should be a full traffic light. I even requested a traffic‑flow study from the state to support installing one, but after the study was completed, the request was denied because the amount of traffic didn’t meet their threshold. It’s ironic — the state felt a warning light was necessary, but not a full traffic light. If that’s the case, a simple stop sign would have saved the Tennessee taxpayers a fortune. My recommendation during heavy traffic is for drivers coming off our road to turn right. The longer delays come from people waiting for a safe opening to turn left across both northbound and southbound traffic. I’m glad you were still able to walk to putt‑putt and the mountain coaster and enjoy the area. Thanks again for staying.

Grandkids' Trip

We are a family of 3 with aspirations of retiring to the mountains and managing 3 to 5 properties after 2020.

In 2014, we decided to take over the daily management of the property and Janan took over booking and management. We've had a couple hiccups but overall the experience has been delightful for us. Our hope is that the cabin & your stay in this beautiful city is a lifelong memory.

We are committed to Gatlinburg, having purchased a second cabin in 2015. I told people I was doing a renovation on the 2nd property. Janan and my friends told people we are doing a full rebuild. Looking back on all we ended up doing, I'd say they are right. Check it out at VRBO Listing 658902. In addition to sleeping more people and more mountain views it is in a golf course community and has 2 pools for the kids.

In May 2018 we added a Condo to our offerings. Its now Nov 2019 and we have completed 4 planned phase upgrades. These renovations have been done in stages and include everything from expanding kitchen, to upgrading appliances, electrical, and TVs, to adding sound abatement to the ceilings.

This property is a 2 bedroom/ 2 bath that sleeps 6 (sofa bed). Located in Cobbly Nob the views are amazing. This is part of the Deer Ridge Resort so offers indoor pool, tennis court, and even lounge access Th-Sun. You can check it out at VRBO Listing 1329268
