El Drake Club tiene bastante historia. Durante la remodelación de lo que pensábamos que era solo actualizar un viejo garaje descubrimos que se remontaba antes de la casa principal y tenía todos los servicios públicos para una segunda vivienda. Una vez que empezamos no pudimos parar. Al encontrar enormes maderas como vigas laterales, capas y capas de papel tapiz, clavos interminables más grandes que cualquier persona normal, decidimos hacer de esto algo especial para compartir. 500 pies cuadrados llenos de elegancia, calidad y calidez. Revestimiento de madera de fresno, yeso veneciano, pisos de travertino, vigas envueltas de ébano y encimeras sólidas, arenisca turca rara en duchas y pisos, baños de cedro y electrodomésticos de alta gama. Una chimenea de gas Dovre para calentarse después de un largo día esquiando y una lavadora y secadora para limpiar esa ropa maloliente de bicicleta. Gran espacio de patio con patio privado cercado y una barbacoa de gas. Le ofrecemos disfrutar lo que disfrutamos de vivir en Bend; proporcionaremos a un pequeño costo, tablas de paddle, bicicletas Crusier, kayaks, rafting y recorridos por la cervecería.

Great Location!

The Drake Club was great! Really nice little cottage that is well decorated and includes a great kitchen and bathroom. The location is excellent as you are a short walk/bike ride to everything Bend has to offer. The Drake Club is a great little spot in Bend and I would highly recommend it to anyone considering a stay in Bend!

Fantastic location

Unbeatable location. Nice kitchen to cook in, although it was very barebones. If you plan to cook, be prepared to bring all of your own things like oil, pepper, all condiments. No coffee pot but there is a French press. Bed only had one nightstand but it’s a small space. Little backyard was a nice bonus and it got sun even in the morning. If you are super worried about total privacy, this isn’t a good choice as the windows are right next to the driveway shared with the other unit so there are occasionally cars and people going by your windows. That being said, unit gets hood light and electric fireplace heat the place quite well. Would definitely stay again.

Property was perfect for our needs. Our two dogs don't shed and it was great for them to feel comfortable with. Very short walk to the park and we walked to town a couple of times. Perfect get away wknd for us!!! Thank you Katey! would love to stay again.

Perfect for a couple

This was one of the best studio/garage stays my partner and I have had on VRBO/AirBnB. The full size kitchen was great, bathroom wonderful, and there was enough space to negotiate our ski gear. You are within walking distance to a lot of awesome spots too.

Great little place, very clean and great value. Katey was very quick to respond to questions, and accommodated our request for a early arrival she had it ready for us a couple hours early when all we needed was about 30 minutes. Will visit here again.

Very nice

Cute and efficient. Convenient location - close by Harmon Park and footbridge over to Drake Park and downtown Bend. Nice amenities, such as having a washer/dryer in the room. It was a very good place to use during my short visit to Bend.

Wonderful experience

The location is very central for walking to restaurants, parks but in a quiet location. The space is just perfect for 1-2 people. The talent and detail into the space is incredible and very cozy! We will be coming back for sure!

Location, location, location to downtown Bend.

A great tiny house experience. Katey was very responsive to our questions regarding how to turn on the stove that heats the home (very important as the cooler weather is upon us!) The parking off street and privacy a plus for us. I think the Fall Special of $75/night is quite reasonable.

We had a great stay, every amenity you could ever need is at you fingertips. Very cozy fireplace kept us warm on a chilly night, bed was very comfortable, and a very quiet relaxing get away from "regular" life. We will definitely stay here again and again!

Perfect for our needs.

This quaint and cozy abode was perfect for what we needed. I wish we had time to utilize all that was available for making meals. They didn't seem to be lacking anything in the kitchen, right on down to the fresh lemon and lime for our use when we arrived. Situated right near the river and parks and downtown Bend, you could walk everywhere if you wanted. We certainly appreciated the craftsmanship that went into making this place special! There were absolutely no hassles whatsoever in renting, all went smooth as could be, very pleased.

Close and cozy

Very comfortable accommodations within walking distance of several local attractions. We walked to Drake Park, shopped and had dinner downtown; two days in Bend without moving our car from its covered parking spot. The kitchen had basic essentials, and we appreciated access to Netflix.

Right in the middle of all Bend has to offer

We loved staying at the Drake Club! It perfect walking or biking distance to anything you could want in bend. This was our second time there and it's always clean, comfortable and quiet. Can't wait to go back soon!

This place was a quaint, cozy, and romantic stay. Definitely a great place to relax!

My husband and I were needing a place to recharge and still be near the mountain for skiing. This place was perfect! It is great having a full kitchen, and comfortable bed. Very clean, and well equipped kitchen.

a thanksgiving treat

Totally enjoyed our stay at the Drake. It is a small, well finished unit perfect for a couple visiting the area. It has solid nice finishes, an ample kitchen with full size appliances, nice bbq area in the back(we did not use in the snow), and a terrific central location. Short walk to many places including a great outdoor eating plaza . Look forward to our next stay.

My husband, 3 month old son and I rented out the Drake Club for four days. It's in a great location that allows you to walk practically everywhere. It is a small unit but the space is utilized perfectly. The bed was comfortable, ac unit was super handy and the kitchen was beautiful. We loved staying in the studio and will definitely rent it again. The only possible downfall to the place was the wifi. It wasn't a strong enough connection so I was unable to pick it up within the studio. But that was no big deal.

Great Location, Beautiful Decor

We had a great stay. The Drake Club is beautifully decorated with a really nice kitchen and bath. It's perfectly situated for a cycling vacation as there are two bike shops, food carts, breweries, grocery store, restaurants, and a cupcake shop within easy walking distance. We spent our days cycling in the mornings and then walking to the food carts one block away for some tasty refueling. I highly recommend the Cashew Stir Fry from Thailandia. The owners were really nice and I would highly recommend The Drake Club.

My new favorite vacation spot

This is a beautiful cottage with a wonderful location! Easy walk to the river and downtown Bend, which we did every morning for a cup of coffee. I appreciate that my pups were allowed to join us. The air conditioning unit was a great help. I honestly have only great things to say. We are already thinking about planning our return trip next year.

Great time at the Drake Club!!

We had a great visit in Bend and the Drake Club was perfect for us! We loved how centrally located the rental was and took full advantage of all the delicious places within walking distance. It was one of the hottest days of the year, so we also appreciated the air-conditioning unit provided in the rental space and we loved being able to bring our pup along on our adventure. We would definitely stay here again!!

I was born and raised in Bend, and my family’s history goes back almost as far as The Drake Club's. Grandma and Grandpa Kelley moved to bend looking for adventures; they started a cattle farm east of town. They were skilled farmers but better Real Estate Agents. Settling in town to raise my father who carried their legacy in real estate. Once he graduated high school he purchased the Columbia house aka The Drake Club. Fast forward 40ish years here I am. Coming back to my home town after college was one of the easiest decision I have ever made. I love this place. Every day I enjoy what the high desert has to offer. I am an avid fisherwoman, paddle boarder, mtn biker, skier and horse rider.

Maybe my Father held on to this property because it was a good investment, I like to think it was because it captures you. It is a small lot with lots of charm. It has an all to familiar beat that goes right with Bend's heart.
