Claudia Laslie is the owner/creator of Berkshire Rental Properties, which specializes in both short-term and seasonal vacation rentals throughout the Southern Berkshires. Together with her associate, Sarah Dixon, BRP acts as liaison between the guest and homeowner to assist both the owner in preparing their rental, and then, assisting the guest with their reservation and all details leading up to smooth arrival and thoughtful guest experience. Claudia first fell in love with the Berkshires when she left Detroit to study dance at Jacob's Pillow, even performing in the Ted Shawn Theatre. Claudia moved to Great Barrington in 2003 with her two young children, after an exciting career working internationally as a Ford model, and commercial actress. Looking for extra income, she tried renting out her house. She noticed many other homes often sitting empty and found others to represent. The company has come a long way since those early days - the kids are grown and BRP has expanded to 30-plus listings, including real estate, and insurance integrations. The team loves to help renters (and buyers!) find their dream property and provides seasoned guidance to homeowners, hoping to secure good matches for their homes.
