Welcome to the cozy 62-square-meter Berglust-Sachrang vacation apartment. This ground-floor apartment with its own terrace is located in a quiet yet central part of the mountaineering village of Sachrang. From there, you can climb many peaks, such as the Geigelstein at 1,808 meters above sea level, which has been a nature reserve for 30 years now. You can also reach the Spitzstein at 1,596 meters above sea level directly from the apartment. In winter, the small ski lifts, the cross-country ski trail, and the mountains for ski touring are all within walking distance. The small village store in the center of town is worth a visit, especially for its specialties from Bavaria and Tyrol.
The cozy, 62-square-meter, non-smoking vacation apartment—complete with a terrace and lawn for sunbathing—features a separate bedroom with a large double bed (180 x 200 cm), a spacious living room with a tiled stove, flat-screen satellite TV, free Wi-Fi, and a dining area, as well as a kitchen equipped with a dishwasher, oven, freezer, coffee maker, and electric kettle. The bathroom, which features natural light, has a walk-in shower, a hair dryer, and a makeup mirror. You’ll also find a small storage room with an in-room safe in the apartment. The terrace is furnished with a seating area. Bedding and towels are included. Dogs and other pets are not allowed.
Not far from Sachrang is the town of Aschau im Chiemgau, where you can climb many peaks; the most striking mountain is the Kampenwand, which can be reached not only on foot but also by aerial cableway. But the Chiemgau isn’t just unique because of its beautiful mountain scenery—there are also many lakes. For example, Lake Chiemsee wasn’t just a favorite of King Ludwig II back then; even today, with Herrenchiemsee Castle, it remains one of the most famous attractions in our region.
