Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall pros: great view and comfortable bed, 10min walk pretty close to the beach thru a nice park walk, private parking space on the 3rd floor included.Cons: incredibly noisy area and location, very windy so not able to enjoy balcony for the most part, mold in the bath, very old bath and smelly curtain, often water gets stucked as well. Remote control nit working to be able to login to netflix, only being able to watch local tv and very old kitchen appliances but still kicking ;-)

Not up to Captain Cook Standards

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have previously commented to the Property Manager that this property needs a complete "make over" with replacement of major appliances (range and refrigerator) to equal all other Captain Cook managed properties at Four Paddle. We have stayed in almost every property offered by Captain Cook at Four Paddle and this property does not measure up. The Property Manager indicated he would pass our evaluation on to the owner as it is their responsibility to upgrade the facility. We would not stay in this unit in the future unless it were to undergo a complete renovation. Unfortunately the condition of this property had a negative effect on our stay. As to the building, the new pool deck is fabulous and the remainder of the building continues to be maintained to a high standard. Also the wind this year was extreme which limited our ability to enjoy our stay completely. Next year we hope things will be different.

Excellent stay. Unit was clean and exactly as described. Check in process was contactless and very easy. Host was very prompt in responding to any questions throughout the entire stay. The building seemed very safe, it is a locked entry with a 24/7 security guard at front desk. Within walking distance to everything in Waikiki!

December 2021 Stay

Aloha, we have been here 3 days and still have 3 weeks to go, and we are very uncomfortable. The bed is very hard and we wake up with soar backs everyday and the chair in the living area is small and uncomfortable to sit on. We find the unit needs to be upgraded and in the kitchen the countertops are old and cracked and we cannot open the drawer near the stove without opening the oven door first. There are also ants in kitchen and bathroom and we need to have ant traps. The shower has broken shelf and there is not enough room on the vanity to place things. We have rented other units at Four Paddles and always had great stays and found the units and the comfort great, but this unit is not what we like to stay at.

Good bed, good location, everything else real meh

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed here for 3 mos and the bed was very good and it's in walking distance to tons of things so that's great. Otherwise it's kind of not ready to be rented. There's a carousel of workers that have to come in and out and go up and down on the gondola outside the window, so not a lot of privacy. Rental mgmt didn't have control over the workers either even though they gave 20% discounts whenever we were disturbed. Also had to buy a lot to be comfy like chairs and pillows and glasses and such. Stuff they provided was just cheap and uncomfortable. Couch is kind of broken and leans forward when you sit on it but all mattresses were very good. Overpriced for what you get for sure.

Reviewer Comments: We recently stayed at four paddles room 1401 and were more than happy with the room and wonderful friendly service we received from Captain Cook.THe description of the property was very accurate and it was nice to have supplies when we arrived. The room itself was clean and comfortable and perfect for our stay of 33nights. The location is a bonus with a 10minute walk to the beach and a friendly ABC store 3minutes away, should you need some supplies. I would definitely recommend this property and hope to return in the future.

This place and the building are amazing.

Super close to great restaurants and a few blocks from the beach. I highly recommend staying here!!

A Happy Time at Four Paddle

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: WYSIWYG. We had been at Four Paddle for 3 consecutive years and always wanted to return. We loved the condo for its location, its brightness and its amenities. Mr Paul Tucker is a great help. He got a perfect size rice cooker for us even though the condo already has 2 cookers; and a new king size bed! I guess whatever we need, Paul will try to meet our request. Thank you so much Paul. We are looking forward to seeing you again soon.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Enjoyed an amazing 6 weeks!! Way to go, keep up the excellence Captain Cook. Condo exceeded our every possible need; location, security, parking, views, accommodations, and amenities. The bedspread has changed but otherwise as pictured. Tips; When running dryer, point a fan to keep condo cool. When fridge or TV goes out, flip switch in breaker box. Head to the beach around 4, stay for sunset. Then, hot tub under moon. Would definitely return to same condo or any of Captain Cook's. Paul-many thanks for your attention and smiles. Aloha

Reviewer Comments: staff helpful and friendly, great pool area, some kitchen shelves and cookware were unclean when reported problems solved very quickly, bathroom and kitchen floors needed more cleaning by myself on hands and knees. Condo was well supplied with beach and pool stuff. Furniture beginning to show its well as kitchen counters, and cupboards and bathtub and shower. Hope this info is helpful. Great time at The Four Paddle.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: WYSIWYG. Great location, great view of the mountains and the canal. A bit of sea view. The apt is very clean and bright. The kitchen is very well equipped. Would like to see a better mattress, and hopefully next time we will have a king size bed. We left behind two beach chairs for next year as we already booked for a return :-)
