We split our time between the U.S. and Costa Rica, and we chose Jacó because we genuinely love the balance of beach energy and everyday convenience it offers. Hosting allows us to share a space we personally enjoy and carefully maintain.

We chose this neighborhood because it offers the ideal combination of location, convenience, and atmosphere. Monaco Condominiums is just a few steps from Avenida Pastor Díaz, the main coastal avenue that runs alongside Jacó Beach, yet it remains tucked into a secure and peaceful residential setting. That balance was very important to us, being able to walk everywhere while still enjoying privacy and calm.
From here, you can reach the beach in about five minutes, enjoy morning walks along the shoreline, or watch the sunset over the Pacific. You’ll find cafés, local sodas, beachfront restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies, banks, medical care, car rentals, and tour operators. Directly across the street from the Monaco building there are familiar conveniences like KFC, Pizza Hut and a movie theater. Right next to it there is a massage shop, perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach or exploring the area.
The property is also very close to Jaco Walk, one of the town’s most popular open-air destinations. Jaco Walk feels like an Instagram feed come to life: colorful murals, palm-lined walkways, boutique shops, stylish restaurants, dessert spots, and lively evening ambiance all in one walkable space. A modern gathering place where you can enjoy dining, shopping, or simply strolling and taking in the vibrant atmosphere.
