The Space:

This beautiful, sixth-floor Gulf-front vacation rental includes balcony doors in the living room leading to a private balcony that provides a spectacular view of the Gulf of Mexico. Pickleball courts are also nearby, so grab your paddles and have a friendly game together. With the bedroom facing the Gulf side, there is a full view of the Gulf from the windows as well. Other features of this high quality, vacation rental include upgraded furnishings such as kitchen cabinets, stainless steel appliances, granite countertops a full-size refrigerator, cooktop stove and oven, microwave and dishwasher, tiled kitchen walls, along with all the dishes, pots and utensils needed to prepare and serve meals. Both bathrooms have bathtubs with vanities, light fixtures, and cabinets. The living room has a TV, DVD and VCR player. The first bedroom has a TV, DVD, and VCR with the primary bedroom having a TV with a DVD.



Things to Know

Complimentary beach service of one umbrella and two chairs is offered from March 1 through October 31. Paddleboards, kayaks, and bicycles are available for an additional charge.

All guests regardless of age are to be considered for Occupancy count in Fort Walton Beach, FL

Oceanfront view is unbeatable

Great property for our family of 4 beach vacation! Quiet road beats staying in the congested Destin area - but still a quick drive to get to. Enjoyed the beach service. Thanks!

This was my 3rd visit to Island Echos and the first time to stay in this unit. This has been my favorite unit so far and will be my go to for future visits. Located on the 6th floor, the pictures do not do the view justice. The view is much better in person. The beach decor was spot on for a vacation vibe and the condo was stocked appropriately. Before, during and after our stay, communication was great. I look forward to staying again!

Nice Condo, but Definitely Well Loved

Overall it was an enjoyable experience. There are some things in the condo that are worn and need an upgrade, but nothing that stopped us from having a great time.

This was a beautiful condo, awesome view, very close to the beach. Beautifully decorated room, very clean, super easy check in and out. Will most definitely try to book this room every year! I can’t say enough positive things about this property!!!

Beautiful location

Beautiful condo with a spectacular view! Loved sitting on the balcony and watching the ocean and dolphins. Having 2 beach chairs and an umbrella included with the beach service was a great perk!! Very clean. Great communication with the rental agency. Only drawback is you must have a car to go anywhere. No extra blankets are in the condo if you get cold. With that being said, I would stay here again. You can't beat the views!

Wonderful location

Pros: I love how close we were to the beach. The beach service was excellent. We walked to the little store several times, which was convenient. Everything worked well. Cons: The condo has a little wear and tear and the kitchen could have been cleaner. The blind in the master was broken and stuck in the raised position when we got there. Thankfully my husband managed to get it lowered. There was a doorstop in the bathroom that was just hanging loose that he also screwed back in. Another reviewer had mentioned the bedside lamp was broken. I happened to find the switch in the bedside table drawer and screwed it back on. One of the twin beds had a broken foundation leg, but we only needed one so it didn't bother us. The biggest issue was the master bed mattress. It was awful! It dips in the center to the point that it was hard to get out of bed and we had to use pillows to keep from rolling on top of each other in our sleep. Several people had mentioned this in the guestbook in the condo, but (as with the blind and the lamp that were mentioned in reviews) I don't think anyone is reading it. Overall, we really enjoyed the trip and the condo was nice.

Our stay was great even tho the weather was not.

The condo was great. It was decorated and furnished so comfortable. Very up to day. The beds were the best I’ve ever slept on, including my own. We will be checking to see if this unit is available the next time we come to Fort Walton.

Nice Getaway

Nice condo right on beach. Conveniently located to restaurants. Clean and well appointed. Nice having a washer and dryer inside the condo. The kitchen has everything you need. Excellent patio chairs.

Beautiful place and beautiful view! Will be back!!

I could have sat and enjoyed the balcony overlooking the ocean for days! We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back. Had a few questions about the beach and the property manager was easily reached and very helpful. Nice location and lots of things to do in the area. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars for cleanliness was there were some empty soda bottles under the bed and the paint on many of the cupboards was peeling but nothing serious that would deter me from staying again.
