We are not a family that writes reviews, but felt it necessary to write one about our stay at Plantation beachfront Condo to help other families avoid this place. We booked this place knowing it was small but near the beach, not knowing it would be so bad. First off, when we got there, we couldn’t get into our room. The code didn’t work and the key that should have been left in the lock box outside was gone. After about an hour trying to get in, we were given another code. Once entering there were burnt out lights, a broken dining room chair, the screen door didn’t work, a disgustingly stained couch and an even more disgusting smell coming from the fridge. Every time we opened the fridge the entire room smelled of fish. There was an air freshener in the fridge, but it did nothing to mask the horrible smell. The bath/shower faucett was cobbled together and felt like it was going to fall off the wall everytime we tried to turn the shower on. The outside pools claim to be heated but were so cold most guests just sat around the pool on chairs bc it was too cold to go in. Not what we had expected for a heated pool. This place has lots of potential but was not unkept or cleanly at all. We ended up leaving a day early to go stay at a hotel to help erase this place from our memory.
