The smoke detector goes off when u cook or use the toaster and we didn't burn anything. The set up was great for hangout as a family

Check in/out was easy. Pool needed long netted pool for daily cleaning out of insects and frogs.Great location, good restaurant close as well as beach. A lot of steps since all houses are on stilts.

Great stay

House was better than the pictures. Took us about 5 minutes walking to get to the beach. The check in process and check out process was very easy and there was no problems. Overall very great stay and we will be back.

It was great! The guy who cuts the grass blew the grass in the pool and hot tub. Plus all over our towels. I cleaned the pool the best I could. I didn’t try to clean hot tub. The next day pool guy showed up but we were leaving that day. We will again. Thanks.

Great location with a pool!

Quiet neighborhood even in mid-July. Easy walk to the beach- helps to use a wagon if carrying a lot. Pool and hot tub new and clean- great option for those needing a break from the beach. We were a 2 family group (10 total) with adult children- nice space for all. Bring blankets for the beds if anyone gets cool at night- only one extra blanket found in a downstairs closet. Beds have sheet-like coverlets. There are some beach chairs and toys, but some have started to rust and ware- we were glad we brought our own. Washer and dryer are wonderful! Efficient dryer! We also brought a large tent for the pool deck- there is no natural shade poolside, as you can see in the photos. Wal mart and Publix 10 minutes away. Beach House Restaurant one block from house! Great place- would highly recommend!!

Frustrating

We lost a whole day dealing with Vacasa and its local associates. Our house was not cleaned upon arrival. We waited 4 hours in the cold for it to be cleaned. When the local people finished cleaning we had no blankets to sleep with the first night. We waited til noon the next day to receive them. We spent several hours making phone calls and going to the local Vacasa to speak with someone. We did get reimbursed for the cleaning fee and one night but the experience left a lot to be desired and I don’t think we will use Vacasa again. This is disappointing to me and my family as we plan on making this trip over chat new tradition.

Maintenance Needed

Property was fine. Many light bulbs out. Pool was filthy when we arrived. Pool cleaner never showed up. Had to clean the pool with beach toys. Refrigerator was leaking water. Hot tub jets only worked on one side. Annoying motion light in the patio. Outdoor shower head needs replaced. First Keurig coffee maker wasn’t working. Luckily, there weren’t two of them. Couch was dirty. Damage to a few lamps. Water filter on fridge needed replaced. Last night at the house the lights in the kitchen wouldn’t turn on at all. Many basic maintenance issues that need addressed. Contacted Vacasa the property manager multiple times and they said they would send out a local team member. No one ever came to address the problems. Location of the property is great, but the property manager, Vacasa is pretty much nonexistent. Be prepared to perform the maintenance yourself during your stay. Very frustrating. Recommend not renting a property managed by Vacasa.
