This private desert oasis boasts a spacious, three-bedroom layout and a host of deluxe features including a fully enclosed yard complete with a pool and patio furnished for outdoor living with a fireplace!

Beat the heat in the sparkling pool or kick back under the shade of one of the deck loungers under an oversized sun umbrella. There are pool toys and cornhole available for guests. Fire up the gas barbecue for a backyard cookout and enjoy a few rounds of cornhole in the grassy lawn area while the grill sizzles. When it's time to eat the outdoor dining table can accommodate al fresco meals with seating for six. Afterward, enjoy a nightcap on the covered patio or gather around the gas fire pit for starlight entertainment.

Inside, find family fun in the game room featuring a 4k smart TV, foosball, Mortal Kombat II arcade, and a large collection of classic board games. A six-seater table sets the stage for dinners and game nights. For more casual downtime, relax in the open living room. Highlighted by gorgeous custom artwork adorning the decorative hearth, the living room features a wraparound sofa and 4k smart TV for comfortable group get-togethers. The kitchen comes well-equipped with ample counter space and a suite of major appliances to handle home cooking with ease, plus added features including a dedicated beverage fridge/wine cooler. Home essentials include central air-conditioning, free WiFi, Netflix and YoutubeTV, and a private washer/dryer. Each bedroom is also equipped with its own smart TV to help you relax after a day of enjoyment!

Well Appointed; Good Location

A clean, comfortable, well appointed house. Lots of thoughtful details (games, kitchen supplies, cleaning and bathroom supplies). The house is easy to access and in a good central location. The neighborhood is really quiet. The backyard is amazing! We had a great stay.

Beautiful, Comfortable Home

Staying at the Thunderbird Retreat really enhanced our stay in Scottsdale! We appreciated the beautiful outdoors, pool and fire pit! There are citrus trees in the backyard, growing lemons and mandarins :> The kitchen countertops were new, with a brand new fridge and wine cooler. Very peaceful quiet neighborhood. Fun games for the kids, the towels were thick, and plentiful.

Nice stay but a couple of improvements are needed.

There was no extra toilet paper that we could find and the roll we had was one ply. Literally see-through and very inefficient.Would be nice if the host would provide bath mats and hairdryers. Also in the kitchen, it would be nice to have aluminum foil or Saran Wrap. Icemaker was not working. Trash bins outdoors were full. It was nice to have laundry soap and dishwasher soap provided.

Slow response

We had a couple issues while we’re at the house. The response for maintenance was very slow and they did not provide good communication. Otherwise the house was nice and had good amenities.

Everything was great minus cold pool

The house was nice, clean, in a good location and had a great yard and patio with plenty of places to relax. The scent of the orange blossoms in the backyard was intoxicating. The only problem we had was that while the listing said the pool could be heated for a fee, four days before we arrived we were notified that was not an option anymore. Coming from cold, gray and drizzly Oregon, we were all looking forward to the heated pool, but all we got to do was look at it. It was a huge disappointment for every member of our party from age 76 to 11. I told Vacasa we wouldn't have rented this property if we had been aware in advance that the pool couldn't be heated; they asked if I had a screenshot of the listing saying that was an amenity! Not helpful at all! We're not impressed with the false advertising and complete lack of concern by Vacasa. Maybe the summer months would be better for renting this property as the pool heat would be a non-issue.
