My husband and I are lifelong Alaskans, both originally from Juneau before our families relocated to the Mat-Su Valley, where we were raised. Interestingly, our parents grew up and attended school together in Juneau proof of just how small Alaska can be. Although we shared similar roots, we didn’t meet until a little over six years ago, and we have been a strong, committed team ever since.

Like anyone, we’ve faced our share of challenges, but one thing has remained constant. we prioritize family above everything else. That mindset is the foundation of how we host. We understand that time with loved ones is what truly matters, and we’ve designed our home to reflect that.

From the moment you walk in, the space is built for connection. The open-concept kitchen and living area ensures no one is left out whether you're preparing meals or relaxing, everyone stays engaged. The brand-new chef’s kitchen is fully equipped well beyond expectations, featuring extensive cabinet space and a wide range of appliances including air fryers, crock pots, rice cookers, griddles, toaster ovens, and more. You’ll find everything needed to prepare meals for both family and friends with ease.

The living area is designed for comfort and gathering, whether that means unwinding on the couch by the fireplace with a movie or sitting around the kitchen island enjoying conversation. The layout naturally brings people together without feeling crowded.

After a long day exploring Alaska, the upstairs master suite offers a standout experience. The spa-style couples shower features dual controls, four shower heads including rain heads and personal wands with strong and consistent water pressure along with an ample hot water supply. It’s designed for both comfort and convenience, eliminating the usual compromises.

We have never experienced any and we ask our guests to respect it and keep it that way.

Although the home is conveniently located near the airport, the impact is minimal. From the large back deck overlooking the spacious fenced yard, you may occasionally hear planes taking off, which many guests find enjoyable rather than disruptive. Inside the home, however, it is virtually silent—an indication of the home’s quality construction and insulation.
