Grafrath an der Amper is located on the edge of the Ampermoos, which stretches from Lake Ammersee to here.
The apartments are located in a multi-family building; each apartment has one parking space available. A bicycle storage area is available but is not locked.
Grafrath has two supermarkets, a restaurant, and an organic grocery store. In Fürstenfeldbruck, 10 km away, there are cafes, supermarkets, discount stores, movie theaters, and restaurants.
Downtown Munich is approximately 35 km away.
Grafrath has an S-Bahn station; the S 4 takes you directly to Munich.
There is also a bus stop on the same street, about 200 meters away, which runs every half hour and connects to the S 4 S-Bahn from Buchenau to Munich (daily except Sundays).
This is a great starting point for walks, bike rides, and, of course, exploring the lakes Ammersee, Pilsensee, Starnberger See, Wörthsee, and Wesslinger See.
