Fantastic isolated cabin

Spent a few nights at Jeff's cabin with my wife and our two kids - we were all very happy during our stay. The kids got a huge kick out of the visiting deer and turkeys that showed up daily, and the hot tub was a big hit as well! Great place to feel secluded without being too far from the sites. Highly recommend.

There were 4 adults in our group, loved the cabin and our stay there. Every morning we even had our own little herd of deer that would visit us.

Wonderful place to stay!

My husband and I and our dog came out for a vacation! The cabin was very nice. It had everything we needed for kitchen utensils to grill in one night. The hot tub was perfect! The only thing I would warn future visitors who bring their dogs with is that there are two large dogs across the road that come visit. We didn’t have any problems with them, I just pointed and told them to go back home and they turned around and left. But the first night once we got unloaded one of them was up on our deck. Again, we didn’t have any problems with them I just personally think that something nice to know when bringing my own dogs :) Thank you for hosting, we had a wonderful time! :)

Beautiful cabin, fully furnished, lots of towels, fully stocked kitchen. Very clean. Very close to everything we wanted to visit. This was our second time staying here.

Awesome place to stay in the Northern Hills

Big Elk Place Cabin is a great place to stay. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed, including a washer and dryer. We enjoyed the new hot tub while watching the deer and turkeys walk through the yard everyday. Jeff is a great host and I would recommend this cabin for any group looking for a place to stay near Nemo or Sturgis.

Mom & son getaway!

My 12 year old son and myself stayed for a 4 night getaway. The cabin was so peaceful and pleasant, especially early in the mornings or late evenings. I was lucky enough to have the main voyage in the brand new hot tub! It was perfect and the cabin owner was a true joy to work with. We will definitely be back!

Great place to stay, especially if you run black hills 100 mile ultra run!

Overall we really enjoyed our stay, the location is superb and was a central point for my run and made it easy for my wife to go back to cabin and reach the aid stations. We enjoyed the deck and relaxing out on it in the evenings grilling with the gas fireplace to take the edge off the cold. My two girls would have loved the upstairs but were not able to make it. Kitchen is well appointed and we had everything we needed. We communicated with Jeff after and mentioned a few things to take care of and he was appreciative and receptive and no doubt will address.

Great cabin that’s nestled in the beautiful hills of SD! Definitely recommend this place, it was a nice little vacation for us as a couple but it would also be the perfect place for a small family to stay! :)

We love the Black Hills of South Dakota and fell in love with the Nemo area. Owning both an on road motorcycle and an off road side by side we enjoy spending as much time in the area as we can and owning this cabin has made enjoying the area even better.

This area has some of the greatest riding in the nation. Its also close to Sturgis and a great place to stay during the Rally or to enjoy riding in the Black Hills in the spring, summer or fall. Its an ideal location for the off road enthusiast. Miles and miles of great trails that are marked and USFS has great trail maps to aid you in your journey.
