Our vacation home is located in Sehmatal-Cranzahl in the Upper Ore Mountains, between the spa town of Oberwiesenthal and the mountain town of Annaberg-Buchholz, right at the foot of Mount Bärenstein and the Cranzahl Dam.

We offer our guests every comfort to ensure their vacation is a truly memorable experience.
A spacious living room, a kitchen, a beautiful bathroom, and two separate bedrooms accommodating a total of 5 people, as well as a covered garden terrace, a children’s playground, and a pool right next to the vacation rental, round out the positive overall impression. Our guests also consistently praise the interior furnishings and the spotless cleanliness of the property.

The attractive Lenk Incense Man Museum is located in the immediate vicinity, and in the Neudorf district, you can experience firsthand—in a humorous way—how incense cones are made. You should also definitely visit the newly built Soup Museum while you’re there.
By the way, the steam-powered narrow-gauge railroad, the “Fichtelbergbahn,” runs regularly from the Cranzahl train station directly to Oberwiesenthal. Of course, a trip on the standard-gauge line directly over the main ridge of the Ore Mountains into the Czech Republic is also interesting and well worth seeing.
We also highly recommend a visit to the mountain town of Annaberg-Buchholz, with its St. Anne’s Church, countless museums, and pedestrian promenade, as well as the toy village of Seiffen with its world-famous toy manufacturers.
A special attraction here in the Ore Mountains is the Advent and Christmas season. Miners’ parades, Christmas markets, and the dazzling lights in and on every house rightly earn our region the title “Christmas Land of the Ore Mountains.”

Winter sports enthusiasts are also well catered to here. Excellently groomed slopes and cross-country trails never fail to make skiers’ hearts race. Or take a horse-drawn sleigh ride through the snow-covered winter forest and sample authentic Erzgebirge cuisine.
