La encantadora casa Fuente Luz Cottage está situada en una zona tranquila, a las afueras de Frigiliana. Fantastische Finca in toller Lage mit netten Gastgebern

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im Dezember sehr genossen und können eine unbedingte Empfehlung aussprechen ! Die Finca liegt etwas außerhalb von Frigiliana und es gibt einen fantastischen Blick auf die umliegenden Berge. Alles war sehr sauber, die Ausstattung toll und die Einrichtung gemütlich und einladend. Unser Gastgeber José Antonio war sehr sympathisch, gastfreundlich und hilfsbereit und wir haben uns sehr willkommen und gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Vielen Dank für die schöne und unvergessliche Zeit und wir kommen wie gesagt sehr gerne wieder !

The property was excellent and even better than the photos. The views were amazing, the outside kitchen fantastic and the pool was a lovely temperature. Jose Antonio was so helpful too - he even delivered a new fridge freezer to us at 7pm on a Sunday evening when ours stopped working earlier that day, incredible! Thank you so much!

Amazing place with great pool

Pros: We had a wonderful vacation in October, the host Jóse was very kind and we really enjoyed the stay. The pool and outdoor area was just amazing, even better than the pictures. Cons: Unfortunately the beds were really uncomfortable.

Very nice house in a fabulous location, very quiet and private.

Pros: The pool was fantastic, got warmer as the day went on, the outside area with BBQ was very nice for evenings in. Cons: the bedrooms upstairs had very little headroom and were very hot if the aircon was not used, got used to this over the duration of the stay and it did not impact our enjoyment once we realised tat the aircon was a must overnight.

Wonderful! Property just as advertised.

Lovely cottage in quiet location. Fantastic outside space and pool. Well equipped kitchen, bathrooms etc. TV with English and satellite channels. The owner is very helpful and friendly and responds to queries very quickly . Just a 30 minute walk to Frigiliana on a country lane. Its up and down hill, but we walked most nights and our party ranged from 30 to 62. Will definitely stay again. Thank you Jose Antonio and Loli.

Das Ferienhaus bietet allen Komfort und ist der perfekte Platz für alle die im Urlaub Ruhe und Idylle suchen. Die wunderschöne Pool Landschaft ist nicht nur für Familien mit Kindern ein Traum. Die Lage der Immobilie ist perfekt, mit dem Auto ist man in 5 Minuten in der Stadt Frigiliana. Der Kontakt mit den Vermietern war sehr herzlich und außerordentlich entgegenkommend. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Gracias por todo - sind duda alguna vuelta !!! Gracias per Tod !!!!!

Pros: Hola :) 3 weeks september: Girlfriend had to stay home( emergency-work-nurse)for covid ! but! the house has all !!!! you need!. very! clean on arrival+ fridge already with drinks and some food,bread,bottle of wine etc for start . Jose comes 2 times a week for the plants and clean pool! Very quiet in general, to get here you need! car and the roads are some dirt tracks but i have no problem with it, I was already a few times in Frigiliana and people who are not used to it,not worry! after a few days you will ))). Pool has also a changing color light(great for a night dip ) ))) Kitchen has all ! you need from, coffeemaker,water cooker,oven,electric 4 plate fire,microwave and even a mixer for my smoothies and more than enough pans,pots ,plates,glasses off all kinds etc .... for at least! 4 people. Electric heaters also in case you go when colder(bedrooms also). for supermarkets etc i recommend you go to Nerja(more!!! than enough Mercadona-supersol,Lidl ) and its only a few km!drive and the LIDL supermarket is open on sundays!!!! (rare in Spain) For people who never was in this region,i can only recommend it! You can find here all!!!!! and i not exagerate. Nature parks,walks,cycling,horse riding,parapente, diving,kayak,mountains,sea,sightseeing,museums.....Sierra Nevada..........(ski in winter)and a lot more. I drive around 3000km! at least! every vacation here(already 6+ now) and i still have a lot to see from the whole Malaga region and further. So do some serious research and not only the general sites! find the official spanish sites also from the regions etc......:) and plan it well in advance! You can find tickets also cheaper on the official spanish sites or the official!!! site from what you go look than other sites(look carefully !). In Nerja itself i recommend the caves(great caves)and very good beaches Good starting point also for other cities Malaga,Marbella,Cordoba,Sevilla,Granada(1 hour to Alhambra)and even Gibraltar( +/- 2.5 hour drive) Enjoy! Malaga and the surroundings! you will need a lot of time to see all ))))) Thx Jose! for a great relaxing stay!

Pros: Vi var kun på tre fire længere ture fra huset i løbet af de to uger resten var afslapning med indkøb i det lokale supermarked og så hjem i huset og lave mad og læse bøger og ellers slappe af og det var helt uden forstyrelser idet huset ligger så der i praksis ikke er nogen der kunne "kigge" forstyrende ind til os. Vi låste os selv ude på et tidspunkt men i løbet af 10-15 min var værten/ejeren der for at låse os ind. der kunne måske mangle lidt "værktøj" til grillen men ellers var der vel i bund og grund det vi skulle bruge.

Fuente Luz is a modern property built in a rustic style with its own private pool located near Frigi

Pros: Fuente Luz is a modern property built in a rustic style with its own private pool located near Frigiliana. Our first impressions of the property were , how spotlessly clean it was. Downstairs was an open plan kitchen, lounge, diner .The kitchen had all the equipment you would need, including oven & hob , coffee machine, toaster, microwave, plenty of crockery, cutlery, dishes, and an enormous fridge freezer. In the dining area, there was ample seating for four people and in the lounge a large comfy corner type settee where there was TV, DVD, stereo and Wi-Fi. There is also a pretty downstairs toilet. A nice touch was the welcome pack comprising of bread, butter, milk, pate, cold meats and a bottle of wine. Upstairs there were two bedrooms, a bathroom and a well needed air conditioning unit. There was also a hairdryer which was really useful. There was another toilet and a large walk-in shower located in the laundry room adjacent to the house, we used this shower everyday . In the laundry room was a washing machine, iron, ironing board, clothes airier, sink, chest of drawers, a small settee . A huge bbq area was between the house and the laundry room with plenty of work surface and seating. The pool and lounging area were superb and, once again, spotlessly clean. The pool and villa are very private and the views are spectacular . Frigiliana was a lovely town with plenty of superb restaurants to choose from. We have stayed in frigiliana before but this has to be the best and most private of all . Perfect for a relaxing holiday .

Pros: Great property slightly off the beaten track but possible to walk to Frigiliana in under an hour if your feeling energetic (we did it once!). Otherwise we used car to find other walks in the area (the Rio chiller is a must). Rest days were great at the house as there is everything you need so long as you have stocked up with essentials as the best supermarkets are in Nerja as the local shops were expensive and lacking in anything but basic essentials. Would recommend this property if your looking for a great holiday away from the crowds.

Pros: Fuente Luz was a bit of a surprise. At first sight it seems quite old, but when you look close it is actually very modern, but styled to look like a traditional corjito. We were met by Jose who was very friendly and welcoming. He showed us round the cottage and explained much about Frigiliana. He also supplied us with fresh fruit, bread, pate, wine, water etc:. The cottage itself was very clean and had everything we needed. The pool was spotlessly clean and although unheated, warmed nicely as the sun shone on it all day. The cottage is very private although not isolated as there are other homes dotted around the valley but it was very quiet and peaceful. Frigiliana is very beautiful with many places to eat, we found Las Chinas to be our favourite. A walk around the steep narrow streets is well worth the effort...or take the little 'train' or horse buggy rides. If you're feeling active you can walk the river...in the river..from the town centre all the way to Nerja 26 Km away. All in all a lovely little cottage which is cleverly designed and never gets too warm inside, with all you need, including WIFI and HD TV, in a very pretty setting where the sun shines until late in the evening by the pool. Jose was charming and very friendly and prepared to help in any way. Loved it!!

Pros: My friends and I came here for Semana Santa holidays, we feel in love with the place the moment we set eyes on the view! Jose was lovely and helpful and even gave us avocados from his trees around the villa, he also let us pick some! We had a BBQ in the outside area nearly every night. It was sooooooooo relaxing we found it hard to leave to see the sights. It has all the amendments you need, sunbeds by the pool and a really comfy area to sit in the evening. The pool even has lights in it for night swimming!! It is great value for money!!! We are definitely coming back in september for the mango season (he also has mango trees!) I recommend it to everyone who wants a relaxing holiday where you feel like you are in the middle of the hills not surrounded by other houses! Thanks again!

Pros: A great villa. We’ve stayed in a few around Frigiliana and this tops them all. It’s fairly new and well thought through. Great pool and outside space. The owners also provide small extras you don’t normally get like pool towels, hand soap in all 3 bathrooms and toilet paper. Every little helps! They also left a welcome food pack and fresh advocados from their land. Unfortunately the mangoes weren’t yet ripe. Jose Antonio was very friendly. It is about a 10 min drive from Frigiliana along some uneven country roads but well worth it.

Kan absolut anbefale at leje dette sted. Kontakten til udlejer inden ankomst er også helt i top, de svarede indenfor 15 min hver gang. Og det samme ved ankomst hvor nøglen skulle udleveres, kom han indenfor 5 min fra man ringede. Levede op til forventningerne, idet vi havde været der for en del år siden bare et andet hus. Man skal dog tage dertil for at nyde stilheden , da byen er smuk, men temmelig kedelig ellers.

He met us in Frigiliana and led us the 10 minute drive to the villa, which was spotlessly clean and tidy and exactly matched the photos. All kitchen appliances were as new and in excellent working order. We planned to spend our first week relaxing around the pool so had stopped at a large supermarket on the way across from Malaga to stock up on food and drinks, so the large and very efficient fridge freezer were ideal for us. Jose had very kindly provided us with cold meats, pate, bread, milk and wine. Absolutely every aspect of the property was immaculately clean. The pool and terraces were gorgeous and offer lovely views across the valley (including Jose's own fields of mango and avocados). Despite high temperatures, around 30 - 35 degrees most days, being so close to the coast with a clear view of the sea at the mouth of the valley meant the air remained fresh and much less oppressive than we have experienced in villas a little further inland in past years. At night we used the wall-mounted air conditioning unit which kept both bedrooms comfortable. Throughout the day we found this villa definitely remained cooler than any other we have stayed in. The outdoor kitchen and dining area is great and we liked the BBQ too.The pool house is perfectly placed with a good, spacious shower and handy area to keep swimsuits, sun lotion etc. All outside areas are very well lit indeed and the first time you try out the pool lights, you are in for a treat!! The pool remained warm throughout the holiday (it was still warm at 02:00 in the morning) and the areas around the pool were beautifully tiled, not slippy at all and the outside shower was also lovely and warm. There is full sun from 08:30 - 21:00. The area is wonderfully quiet and relaxing, no through traffic passing the villa on these little tracks. Although narrow and a bit steep in places (only the last 5 minutes), the only other people using the lanes are other residents, if you do happen to meet a car coming the other way, there are plenty of passing places and nobody is driving over 25kmph along there so it wasn't a problem. We were delighted with Frigiliana (10mins drive) - plenty of little restaurants and bars offering good views and food, also small supermarkets which stay open until quite late and open on Sunday. We liked the seaside bustle of Nerja (15mins drive) which didn't seem to have been spoilt by too much modern development - we used the bigger Mercadona supermarket there. On the hottest day we escaped to the air conditioned shopping mall (located at the corner of A7 and Exit 272, signed Vélez-Málaga/Torre del Mar/Costa/Viñuela/Colmenar) called El Ingenio (highly recommend lunch at the little cafe/bar upstairs (opposite Burger King) for authentic and freshly prepared snacks) When Jose called back to clean the pool, he brought with him home grown grapes and avocados and even an extra umbrella and sunshade - he is a genuinely kind and friendly chap who will do his utmost to ensure you are happy. We had a wonderful holiday, comfortable, stress free, quiet and completely relaxing. We highly recommend this villa.
