This detached vacation home in the child-friendly Zomerdorp Grevelingen park is located on the Grevelinger Meer, featuring a small sandy beach, a supermarket, a swimming pool, and playgrounds. The North Sea beach is about 6 km away. The sandy beach, flanked by dunes, stretches for many kilometers and is perfect for walking and sunbathing.<br>The house accommodates 4 people and is ideal for two adults and up to 2 children. The property features a garden with a secluded terrace, as well as a log cabin equipped with patio furniture, a grill, a lounge chair, and much more. Restaurants are located in the immediate vicinity.<br>You can walk across the dam (2–3 km) to the historic town of Brouwershaven, with its beautiful town hall, old inland harbor, Jacob Cats Market Square, and many small alleys and local pubs. To reach the North Sea beach, drive through the village of Scharendijke, which is decorated with many flowers. From the start of the Brouwersdam, you can reach many beach cafés, such as Perry’s Beach Club. You can walk or drive along the beach all the way to Westenschouwen, past the Oosterscheldekering bridge and Neeltje Jans. Middelburg, the capital of Walcheren, is well worth a visit, with its many shops and attractions. Just as charming as Middelburg, though smaller, is Zierikzee, the central town of Schouwen-Duiveland (about 12 km). The well-known tourist destination of Renesse is about the same distance away.<br>Day trips to The Hague, Delft, or Bergen op Zoom are highly recommended.<br>Foodies will be in heaven here, as the North Sea and the Oosterschelde are home to mussels, oysters, and lobsters. <br>Sports enthusiasts will find, for example, first-class surfing and diving opportunities, the chance to ride horses on the beach, and excellent conditions for cycling.
