Perfect for relaxing days on Borkum! Our comfortable "Backbord" duplex vacation rental is located on the first floor and, with a spacious 88 m² floor area, offers plenty of room for a relaxing family vacation for up to four people. You’ll find a living and dining room, a separate bedroom with a double bed, and a separate children’s room with two single beds (each with a TV). The bedrooms are located in the attic. From here, you’ll enjoy a magnificent view of the dunes and the beach with its surf. There’s also a small hallway on the top floor that’s perfect for relaxing or reading. A modern, open-concept high-gloss kitchen with a dining area and a modern bathroom with a shower round out the amenities.

For cozy family time, the living room is equipped with, among other things, a couch, a modern Ambilight TV, and a DVD/Blu-ray player.

Sunshine and fresh North Sea air ensure wonderful moments of relaxation during your vacation on Borkum! The “Backbord” vacation rental features a southwest-facing balcony where you can relax in complete privacy. You’re also welcome to use the building’s small communal garden, which includes a permanent grill area.

The fully equipped kitchen ensures a comfortable self-catering experience. Among other things, you’ll have access to a stove with an oven, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a microwave, and a dishwasher, as well as a coffee maker, a kettle, and a toaster.

Free rollaway beds and high chairs for children can be provided.

Wi-Fi is available in this vacation rental—also at no additional cost.

A washing machine and dryer are located in the annex of the house and are shared among guests.

A separate storage area is available for bicycles. Additionally, e-bikes can be charged at a charging station in the on-site garage.

You may drive right up to the front of the house to load and unload your luggage. A public parking lot (for a fee) is available in front of the house.

Welcome to the four-star “Strandhaus” on the island of Borkum.

The “Strandhaus” is located directly behind the grassy dike, on a quiet residential street. The town center, with its many shopping options, as well as clinics and a public parking lot, is just a few minutes’ walk away. The island’s train station is also in the immediate vicinity. Particularly worth mentioning is the “Strandhaus’s” exceptional location. The beach is just 50 m away. With its magnificent dunes, it’s perfect for long walks. The main beach and the promenade, with its numerous restaurants, are just a few minutes’ walk away.

About the house:

This family-friendly vacation home offers four high-quality, non-smoking apartments for two to five people. The apartments range in size from 48 to 88 m² and each features a terrace or balcony. From all apartments, you’ll enjoy a magnificent view of the dunes and the Borkum lighthouse. In the “Luv” and “Lee” apartments, located on the first floor, you’re welcome to bring your beloved dog. From the top-floor apartment “Backbord,” you can even see the ocean surf.

Amenities:

All apartments feature free Wi-Fi and large TVs in both the living rooms and bedrooms. The fully equipped kitchens include, among other things, a dishwasher, an oven with a glass-ceramic cooktop, and a microwave. The lovingly furnished living areas and modern bathrooms offer additional comfort.

Courtyard:

Guests may use the courtyard and its barbecue area (by arrangement). There is also a pergola here that offers shelter from the wind and weather, complete with a large dining table.
