Mien Inselhuus, apartment 1 "Karl" with garden

Our beautiful, old, renovated brick house features two bright vacation apartments, named after my grandparents, who spent a lot of time on the island. Our house is located 500 meters from the Südbadestrand beach and is still within easy reach of the island’s train station, town center, and shopping areas. We’ve renovated it with a lot of love and hope you feel right at home with us! Our ground-floor vacation apartment, “Karl,” sleeps 2 adults plus 1 toddler and features its own small garden, a terrace with a seating area complete with a table and chairs, and lounge chairs for relaxing. When the weather is nice, you’ll enjoy sunshine in the garden from morning to evening.

The apartment has 1 bedroom with a double bed (160 cm), a dining room, a living room with access to the garden, a TV, a kitchen with a dishwasher, an induction stove/oven, a drip coffee maker, a milk frother, etc., and a bathroom with a walk-in shower. Bed linens and towels are included! The apartment is cozy and practically furnished and is a non-smoking apartment. The colorful island train passes right by our house. There is a parking spot for our guests right in front of the house.

Additional information: A visitor’s tax applies on the island of Borkum. It is €4.80 per day for adults. Children under 12 are exempt from the visitor’s tax.
