Very clean cabin. Has all the amenities you would need during your stay. Downtown is just a few miles away for shopping, food etc. Middle bathroom light bulbs were out and we couldn’t find any bulbs during our stay.

Lovely

This lovely house has a lot of space, is very clean, and we had everything we needed. We cooked our breakfast there and had plenty of space as well as what we needed for cooking. It is close to town, but still feels like an open neighborhood. It wasn't as hot as it was last time we stayed here, so we could open the windows in the evening to take advantage of the cooler temperatures so we could sleep well. I just really like this house.

Quiet place in great location

Good space in a central location to enjoy the Truckee area and to easily drive to Lake Tahoe. The place is very clean and had plenty of towels and other necessities. We had a bit of trouble locating the place in the dark so house numbers on street are needed. We called and a helpful person answered but couldn't really help us with this over the phone. Also, could use some updates, i.e. new mattresses, linens, etc... but all in all a great stay. Definitely would recommend to others.

Nice home ,Lousy management

Threatened us over guest that came for dinner and breakfast with a dog.Failed to plow driveway and it was dangerous.No basic coffee pot.Koenig only.Oven inop.No operating instructions for TV.5 plus feet of snow and ice on roof therefore dangerous to be near the house when coming and going

Great spot

Really nice place to stay. It was very clean, well stocked with everything you could image, right down to a full spice rack. Only 2 minor issues, first there is no coffee maker, just a Keurig machine, a bummer since we brought our own coffee. Second issue was that there is no cable TV. There is a television with an Amazon Fire stick, so you need to log in with a streaming service of your own if you want to watch TV. Our Fire stick was locked with a pin so we couldn't add any apps, but after a call to customer support, they quickly brought us a new unlocked Fire stick, so that was very much appreciated. I recommend that if you're looking to watch TV in your downtime, bring your own streaming device and plug it into the TV. Other than that, everything was perfect!

Needs some improvement

A review on our stay to pass along no to the owners and managers. We were a bit disappointed with our stay, as the home could really use some updates and maintenance. One of the curtain rods actually fell when we tried to use it—which felt unsafe and honestly concerning. Some of the other issues we noticed: • Several broken blinds and curtain rods • The downstairs carpet had a strong odor of pet urine • One of the beds was dirty upon arrival, with visible pet and human hair • The couch was dusty and didn’t appear to have been vacuumed in a while • The kitchen supplies were minimal and of low quality—knives all had broken tips, the plastic cutting boards were hard to use, and the pans were quite worn • There was very little furniture, especially outside, which made it hard to enjoy the deck That said, the beds were comfortable, and the price was affordable—but even at a lower rate, the home didn’t quite meet expectations. With some attention to cleanliness and basic upgrades, it could be a much better experience.

The house was fine but No garage access!

We specifically rented this home due to availability of the garage, which was advertised in the listing, specified in the welcome text, and available last year. However, on arrival, there was no garage access. When we contacted the manager, we were told that the garage is not for guests. We had 3 dirt bikes and gear with us and no place to safely store it. This was a major inconvenience to our trip and false advertising. The management was no help and simply repeated that the garage was not for guests and would not address the fact that it was advertised as included. I guess we're lucky there were actually 3 bedrooms...

Great stay

Clean, bright, and easy for our group to go ride the local trails! Check in/out was as simple as it gets. Lots of wildlife to watch out the window as a bonus.

A wonderful place to relax and unwind

Our family of 6 just spent a fun-filled weekend in Tahoe and Truckee and this cabin was the perfect place to come home to. It spacious but extremely cozy, and the cabin had all the amenities our family of 6 needed. I had to work remotely one of the days and I had no issues with the wifi/internet. We did go during a very hot weekend (in the 80s and 90s) so it did get pretty warm at night since the cabin doesn’t have AC. But we opened all the windows and turned on the fan and that helped a lot! Other than that, everything was awesome.

Lovely house

Beds were comfy. Only 3 of us stayed; there was plenty of space for a bigger group to hang out./ We didn't cook, but plenty of pots, pans, plates, flatware, bowls, cups, & glasses were available. I especially appreciated the Keurig.

Wonderful Cabin!

My family and I had such a WONDERFUL experience here, it was so clean and felt so comfortable to spend time in. Check in was incredibly easy, as was check out and everything was as pictured. We can't wait to rent for a weekend getaway again.

Spacious and cozy

The house is spacious and cozy for a family trip. It provides all the amenity we need. The beds are comfortable. Soaking in jacuzzi after a day of ski trip is really relaxing. Garage access is a big plus in the snow day. There was an issue with the fire TV remote but the Vacasa team quickly fix it--very impressed. Bring your favorite tea or coffee and enjoy the vacation.

Pretty, cozy and comfortable

This house has all of what we look for our winter vacations, it was pretty inside, spectacular views on the outside, on a great neighborhood, close to the ski resorts and downtown Truckee. It’s been well maintained and really feels like being home but in the mountains, we cannot wait to go back on summer to do hiking, motocross, and to swim at the lake.

Nice and spacious place

Big living room, nice kitchen. This is also in a great location. It's super close to downtown Truckee as well as ski resorts. The only issue is the driveway is pretty icy and we had trouble getting our car up with AWD.

Great snow cabin

Nice little snow cabin with close freeway access to snow parks and downtown Truckee. Rooms were exactly the space we needed and the home felt updated and current.
