House was nice, clean, and inviting. Instructions about the house and amenities were very clearly stated and printed out to follow. Maybe a couple of plastic/rubber spatulas for the pans would be great, but otherwise a very nice experience.

Nice, but……

Great place, but no A/C. We were there in July and it was unreasonable hot in the upstairs bedrooms to the point of not being able to sleep. The fans provided were adorable, but not enough to make a dent with keeping the air circulated. Keep this in mind during the summer, it will be HOT in that house and unbearable. Also, it would have been nice to be notified that there is a “fee” to use the pool/fitness area. $10.00 per person per day and another $2.00 for a towel.

Great location and house. Property Management had poor service.

Overall the house was in a great location and as advertised. Was not pleased with Vacasa property management. Terrible customer support when trying to call or message them. Hot tub was light green, no card for the Rec center or garbage dump. Terrible notes on what to expect at the Rec Center during COVID 19 times. No awareness of advanced reservation needed at Rec center or the website to make a reservation.

Summer Stay

Overall the home was per the listing and photos. Unfortunately the private hot tub was locked which was not clearly identified in the listing (per the listing only public pools, hot tubs and beaches may have had covid closures). Vacasa was not great with communication, one of the upstairs bathroom glass shower doors was off of its rolling hinges. Vacasa responded they would have the local maintenance staff reach out to fix. We never heard from them... The guest cards are outdated so it is difficult to access trash area and community center parking...

Vacas Management ruined our stay, does not care about customers

House was not cleaned upon arrival, Vacasa had us move to another house (unpacked, packed and unpacked kids to stay at other place, got to sleep finally at 2AM). Next day, asked several times when original house would be clean, no word, we weren't able to ski as planned, person texted me saying they would let me know, after hours of waiting, I let them know we would just stay at the house they moved us too since we needed to go out (it was 1:30pm already and we had grabbed our things at the other house after 11am and saw no one there cleaning). Vacasa rep texted me that would be fine and they would let the local team know. 4pm got a call that we needed to move out to first house due to someone checking in to current house. Went back to house and found the people who had rented went in to the house and out of anger shattered our electronics. Had to work with the police who told me the irate renters had even called them. Vacasa had no compassion for us, just kept asking if we had left, told me that the other Vacasa person didn't have authority to tell us we could stay there. Then gave small credit saying that they did us a favor to move us for one night to another house and the one night stay house was more expensive. Weekend was ruined with kids being scared that someone would break in, cops coming over for a statement, moving houses all due to mis comms and poor customer service by Vacasa. Owner and renters beware.

A very nice home in Northstar. It was perfect for a three night stay to celebrate a birthday. Nice area to hang , entertain and play games in the great room on the ground level.

Amazing quiet space at North Star!

The house was a perfect size for our family of 4 but could easily house at least 4 more people. The beds are very comfortable and we slept very well every night! Having a fully equipped kitchen was so great and the living room was so comfortable for our movie night. The hot tub was an extra bonus and we used it every day. We will 100% be back in the future!
