First off, the location was great. As for the property, it is poorly maintained. Stained carpets. The half bathroom door doesn’t close (broken track). The listing said 2 full baths when it’s only 1 full and 1 half bath. Light bar in kitchen did not work. The main couch is well past its useful life. The Teflon pans are scratched and stained. If you’re looking for cheap, this would be your place. If you have kids, I would not recommend.

We appreciate you sharing your thoughts with us, Sara. It’s great to hear that you enjoyed the location, as being close to the lake and all the outdoor activities is one of the highlights of our condo. We genuinely regret that the property did not meet your expectations in terms of maintenance and amenities. We take your feedback seriously, especially regarding the condition of the carpets, the half bathroom door, and the kitchen light. These are important details that should be addressed, and we will ensure our team looks into them promptly. We strive to provide a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all our guests, and we’re sorry to hear that we fell short during your stay. Thank you for bringing these issues to our attention, and we hope you find a place that better suits your needs in the future.

The location is great but the condo itself is in need of a lot of work. The biggest disappointment was that the listing says this condo has air conditioning, but IT DOES NOT HAVE AIR CONDITIONING. One of the main reasons we chose this condo over other options was that it offered AC. When the bedrooms are upstairs and it’s still 74 degrees inside at 10:00 at night, it’s very uncomfortable and hard to fall asleep even with the windows open. In communicating with the property management, I could tell they had no idea what the condition of the place was actually like. The carpets are very dirty and worn. The couch was either stained or just not cleaned. The mattress on the trundle beneath the bunk beds was very gross with stains. We found someone’s old pair of socks beneath the dresser. The caulk in the bathroom was clearly not done by a professional. Very disappointing experience with this rental.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us, Jeff. We truly appreciate your feedback and are sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations. It’s clear that the absence of air conditioning made your nights uncomfortable, and we understand how important a good night's sleep is, especially after a day of enjoying Tahoe City. We take your comments about the cleanliness and condition of the condo seriously. That’s not the standard we strive for, and we’re committed to addressing these issues with our local team to ensure that future guests have a more comfortable and enjoyable experience. We genuinely value your insights, as they help us improve. We hope you’ll consider giving us another chance in the future, as we would love the opportunity to provide you with the quality stay you deserve.
