The Space:

The coastal retreat you’ve been dreaming of awaits at this modern, comfortable home off the Cape Arago Highway! Hop in the car and spend the day at Bastendorff Beach, six miles away, or poke around downtown Coos Bay’s shops, restaurants, and attractions, around five miles away.



At home, you’ll love the large, lush yard and quiet setting. Inside, the open floor plan combines the living room, dining area, and kitchen, creating the ideal space to spend time together. The full, well-equipped kitchen offers everything you need to whip up meals and snacks, and there’s room for the whole gang around the large dining table.



After a day of adventures, relax on any of the plush sofas while you stream the latest release, or use the free WiFi to scroll social media. Wall splits and cadet wall heaters will keep you cool or warm as needed, and the washer/dryer will keep any vacation laundry at bay. End the evening with a family cookout on the gas grill, then call it a night in any of three serene bedrooms. It’s time to make a break for the coast - all that’s left to do is book.

This property is in a quiet area and close to beaches and shore acres gardens. The house is spacious and comfortable.The barbecue was rusty and burnt out and the kitchen ware needs to be replaced and updated. Other then that we will stay here again.

Basketball tournament

A group of 5 of us were there to watch our kids play in a basketball tournament. The home is spacious, clean and comfortable. It was an easy check in and the host was always available.

We had a wonderful stay in Coos Bay. This location was perfect between the ocean and downtown. Cleanliness was top-notch. Very reasonable price compared to others in the area. Customer service was excellent. I would definitely recommend this house and Wood love to come back in the future.

I loved all the extra blankets. House was updated and clean. Loved the roku tvs and board and card games provided. Loved the location and playground for the kiddos! They were so Excited to see that:) and I loved that the couch beds were actually comfortable!!

Stayed for a week. Had a group of 5 people, myself and my 4 older teens.. Very spacious just as described. What you read is what you get, even better in person. Active but yet Quiet calm small neighborhood.. lots of beaches within short drive, I can see myself staying here again in future. The house provides a Positive, relaxing atmosphere making for a great evening after a long active day on the beaches and jetties..

Lots of room on the coast.

Listing says no pets, but smelled heavily like dog as soon as we walked in. The space felt much larger than expected. Awesome water pressure, which stands out. Paid a cleaning fee, but certain requests felt like they wanted us to clean the place ourselves. Others might be less clean than us though, lol. Overall, a positive experience. I give it 4.5 stars. Would stay there again.

Wonderful Place to stay in Coos Bay

The home is just as presented. It is big, open and airy. I really like the master bedroom. We traveled with our moms, and it was nice for them to have their own space, and for use to have our own space where we could close the door and still have access to private bathroom, TV etc. The grounds are really nice too. We used the BBQ and outside area. If you have kids the neighbor, whom I believe owns the rental has a beautiful property with its own playground. One note - If you are short, as my mother-in-law is, you may want to bring a step stool for the beds as they are on the higher side. We just went up to Walmart and got one. We will certainly be back!

Decent stay, good price, but a few issues

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. However, there were a few issues.The house was generally what we expected and was a good fit for what our family (3 adults, 1 teen, and 2 children) needed for a quick visit to the coast.But, the beds were not very comfortable, the walls were VERY thin, and the house was not quite as clean as we would have liked. We didn't notice the cleanliness issues at first, but after the first night we saw stains on the wall in the kitchen where something had dripped down. The blinds had dirty smudges, and we found M&Ms spilled under the couch (definitely not ours) that the 2 year old in our group nearly ate.I had also contacted the host to ask if there was beach access. I got a very vague response that there was beach access, but no instructions on where to find it. We never did find it, but public access to the beach was just a few miles up the road with plenty of parking.The house is very spacious with plenty of beds for everyone. We particularly liked that the master bedroom had an extra hideaway bed and the master shower was very large. The water pressure in the showers was also fantastic. The price point was fair for what we got and we would probably consider staying again if the beds had been more comfortable.

The house is nice

The space of the house was great. There was some cleaning spots missed we found a bottle of water on the floor in one the rooms, a piece of candy in the corner of the dining room. Dirt and sand build up along some the walls. A toy behind the coat and rack with a ton and missed dirt under the furniture. Which we cleaned under. The conflicting information about the playground was very frustrating. The information on the paper in the house says to use it then I got two different responses from texting the phone numbers one saying yes and one saying no. Majority of the time it was perfectly fine. My kids got along with the other group that came in for holiday there was some issue with one kid.[ come to find out the owners kid.] And a few adults thinking it is ok to come and talk with children with out their adults outside. Which to me is not ok and crossed a boundary. If the owner plans to have a big party with a big group on the property during holidays, while he has a tenant he should really disclose that. The property clearly stated no pets, but they had a few dogs that would walk over to our portion of yard and let pee and poop In the grass. All around the house it's self is nice, but all the rest was a little crazy.
