I want to start off by saying this home is in a very nice area, its clean and seems very safe. Overall the house was clean and organized. I do want to say it does appear to be owner occupied. While the owners were not there during our stay, there were many signs it was their residence, such as shoes and a family photo and other things. The two bedrooms available to guests are clean but sparse. The pillows, pillow cases sheets and such were stained but seemed freshly cleaned. The pillow cases did not fit on the pillows. The hand towels seemed clean but were also stained and worn. The owners personal effects were all in the shower. We were only provided one towel for three adults and a child. The thermostat was set to 75 when we arrived which is fine but I really never cooled off over the night. We tried turning the ac to the lowest setting and the upstairs never got to or maintained a comfortable temperature. They have signs all over inside the property warning they surveil the property. There is only one visible camera, however I suspect there are additional ones. The mattresses were possibly the least comfortable mattresses I have ever slept on. When I informed the host of the issues they were gracious and stated they would take the suggestions into account. This place has potential and is in a great location.

The host communicates well & quickly. The location seems peaceful that is close to various attractions, shop & restaurants.The property is a new, but the place was not cleaned & it felt very restricted & unwelcoming. Upon entering the property there was a thin sheet of plywood held down by pieces of bricks right at the door which was a tripping hazard. The host seems to not want guests to use anything, there was plastic & Styrofoam on the TV, a drying bath towel on the kitchen counter to protect it from wear & tear. You can't use the stove, the knobs was removed & there was a sign saying no cooking. The microwave, fridge, both bathrooms were dirty & we had to clean them the bedding was dirty & smelled bad & we had to wash them. There were no fitted sheets on the mattress or mattress protectors or pillow protectors. The mattresses are thin & badly stained as if they were found in an alley. There were boxes from the furniture, flooring boards by the dining table, various items used to set up laying around & the host personal shoes out in the open. Paintings not hung just on the floor & a sign on the fridge saying the place was under 24hr surveillance. The wash cloths were dirty stained & thin. Drying hand towel was dirty, no soap dish, soaps lying on pieces of cardboard, soap dispensers was dirty & filled with random soap. Lots of hair in the bathroom, tub was dirty we cleaned, sock under the bed & toenail clippings. After a few hours of sitting we contacted Vrbo & got a hotel.

Ok I am not going to waste my time responding to this...the guests checked in at 4pm....'used' the place for whatever it is and called at 10.30pm saying they want to check out....when I checked the property I saw that they had made popcorn and garbage was overflowing and had promptly washed the sheets....anyways they were refunded the entire amount although their real intentions for using the place for 6 hours was unknown...we have since then updated our policy to check out within 2 hours if you find the place not to your liking...Thanks
