The house and property were fantastic. It met the needs of our family vacation including our daughters and their children. The pool was excellent and used every day. The only issue we had was with the "Beach Access". Yes, there is a public beach access at the end of the street. Once over the boardwalk bridge the actual "Public Beach" was about 25' wide and 250' to the water. Signs on both sides (east and west) were posted private property and no set-ups allowed. On the first day, we were approached by people (some not as friendly as others) explaining who owns the beach property. We contacted the rental company and they let us know that we could use La Vita Dolce to rent chairs and umbrellas that are set up or could be set up in these areas for us. When we approached the vendors on the beach they had no idea if we allowed to rent, but they weren't familiar with our company's agreement with them. We tried to use the online setup request, but found it difficult to work with. We did find that just east of the 3 properties posted private beach, there was a big area we were able to setup in and no one questioned our using this area for the week were there. I would recommend Southern Vacation Rentals provide more detail on beach usage. The location is perfect with easy access to the area and would go back and rent again, but it did take a day or two to figure out the beach access and setup situation.
