We're from Washington State, and while we love the natural beauty of the Puget Sound region, there are times when we crave the sun - which is exactly what first brought us to Palm Desert. Years ago, when out kids were young, we'd escape here after the whirlwind of Disneyland, trading long park days and crowds for sunshine, warmth, and a slower pace. What started as a recovery stop became a tradition: we kept coming back for the incredibly friendly people, the fantastic food, and hiking trails that are hard to beat once we were rested and ready to move again.

Hosting here has become a true labor of love for our family. Our oldest son, who is autistic, is about to graduate with a degree in digital design and media arts, and this property is his first step into the professional world - he helps manage and promote our listing, bringing his creative eye to everything from our photos to the guest experience. Every booking is a a small but meaningful part of his career journey, and we couldn't be more proud.

We're also proud to give back: 10% of all profits from this property are donated to Ben's Fund, a charity supporting families with services for children with autism.

We chose this neighborhood for the peace of mind and the lifestyle it offers. With a 24-hour gate guard and community patrol, safety was a big part of the appeal - especially bringing our family here year after year. From our comfortable patio, the views are simply incredible, and it's the perfect spot to unwind at the end of the day.

The location backs onto the 14th fairway of a championship 18-hole golf course, and the amenities throughout the community are hard to match: 20 pools and hot tubs, 32 lighted pickleball courts, and 6 tennis courts - something for every kind of guest, whether your here to rest or stay active. (Please note: golf, tennis, and pickleball are available for an additional fee.) The neighborhood itself is wonderfully walkable, with wide roads and genuinely friendly neighbors, making it easy to get out, explore, and feel at home from the moment you arrive.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Our layout is designed for privacy and togetherness in equal measure. Two bedrooms, each with its own full bath, sit on opposite sides of the home separated by the living room - giving each side a true sense of its own living space. All three rooms open directly onto the patio, so no matter where you are, you're just steps from the outdoors.

Speaking of the patio, it's one of the few in the area with a slatted covered top, so you can enjoy the outdoors even on the hottest days without giving up the sun entirely. And the views are hard to beat: the Santa Rosa and San Jacinto Mountains provide a stunning backdrop for morning coffee or an evening siesta. We're set right on the 14th green, so you'll often catch golfers coming through - a relaxed, scenic touch to your stay.

For sun and swim days, a pool is just steps away, so you never have to go far. And for guests with an electric vehicle, we offer an EV charger, so you can recharge your car every day of your stay.

There are also plenty of great restaurants nearby if you're in the mood to explore, but if you'd rather not go far, the community clubhouse and cafe are just a short walk or drive from the condo.
