So an ideal place if you want to avoid the crowds and come to spend your holiday in this beautiful area! Walking and cycling is possible, many cross-border paths and roads meander through the landscape.

Aardenburg is an excellent base for day trips in Zeeland and Belgian Flanders. The western Zeeland-Flemish coast (Cadzand) is about 15 kilometers from Aardenburg and the fashionable seaside resort of Knokke-Heist is about 18 kilometers. Bruges (20 km) and Ghent (40 km), as well as Adinkerke on the Belgian-French border with the famous Plopsaland attraction, are an hour's drive from Aardenburg. Golf courses can be found in Oostburg (nine kilometers) and Knokke and for gourmets there are plenty of options in Zeelandic Flanders and Flanders. And how about a visit to the escargot farm, the ostrich farm between Aardenburg and Sluis, an asparagus farm in Eede, the horse dairy in Oostburg or the trout farm in Breskens?
