Welcome to Wild Way Ranch — 6 private acres in the heart of the Verde Valley, where the desert is genuinely wild and the views go on forever.
WHAT MAKES THIS PLACE SPECIAL:
This is the kind of place that gives a family or a couple real room to breathe. Open land in every direction, a sky full of stars at night, and hiking and biking trails that start right at the edge of the property: no trailhead drive, no crowds, just open country. The 6 acres are bordered on three sides by national forest. Genuinely secluded — yet Old Town Cottonwood is 5 minutes away and Sedona is 17. You get the feeling of being far from everything without actually being far from anything.
THE HOUSE
Completely remodeled within the last two years: granite counters, stone and hardwood floors, new appliances, and low-VOC paint throughout. Certified organic Avocado Green mattresses, non-toxic cleaning products, and a continuously running air purifier for guests who are particular about what they sleep on and breathe in. It's a genuinely well cared-for home that feels clean and comfortable from the moment you walk in.
Comfortably sleeps 4 — ideal for a couple, a small family, or two adults who want real space without sharing walls.
THE VIEWS
Step outside and you're looking two different directions into two different kinds of beautiful. To the east, open Arizona desert stretches out to the national forest boundary: undeveloped, unspoiled, entirely yours for the duration of your stay. Turn west and the lights of Cottonwood glow warmly below Mingus Mountain once the sun goes down. The outdoor seating area sits right in the middle of all of it. After dark, the stars take over.
TRAILS OUT THE BACK DOOR
With public land on three sides, the Verde Valley trail network is accessible directly from the property. Hike or mountain bike without ever getting in the car — from easy desert walks to serious terrain, it's all right there.
CLOSE TO EVERYTHING THAT MATTERS
· Old Town Cottonwood — 5 minutes. Great local restaurants, Verde Valley wine tasting, groceries, and a walkable Main Street the kids will enjoy too.
· Sedona — 17 minutes. World-class hiking, red rocks, vortex sites, spas, and galleries. One of Arizona's most iconic destinations, right on your doorstep.
· Jerome — 25 minutes. A historic mountain mining town turned arts community, worth an afternoon.
· Camp Verde & the Verde River — 20 minutes. Tubing, fishing, and some of the best birding in the state.
· Flagstaff — 50 minutes for cooler temperatures, mountain trails, and additional dining and shopping.
A NOTE ABOUT THE PROPERTY
There is a separate tiny house (Tiny Heaven) on the ranch that occasionally hosts its own guests. The acreage keeps things well separated — you'll be aware it exists but it won't affect your privacy, your outdoor space, or your experience in any meaningful way. If you're traveling with another couple or family, ask us about booking both properties simultaneously for a shared trip with fully separate spaces.
Please note: no pets allowed.
