The Space:

The Golden Sands, located in Ocean City, offers everything a vacationer could want without needing to leave the building complex. Enjoy the beach, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis, oceanfront volleyball, and game and exercise rooms! During the summer season, visit the beach bar and grill, sandwich shop, convenience store, and gift shops. Wake up every single day to the unmistakable sound of the crashing waves at this perfect beach condo! It has everything you and your guests could ever need to spend a carefree and restful vacation. It features a well-equipped kitchen with all the essentials, central air-conditioning, a private balcony overlooking the water and tennis courts, on-site washer/dryer for your laundry needs, comfortable and inviting furniture, and a large, TV with cable.



Things to Know

The building provides complimentary WiFi as a courtesy, but it is not guaranteed.

The indoor pool and large outdoor pool will not accommodate children in diapers. There is an outdoor kiddie pool provided for children in diapers.

Per building management, cannabis is prohibited everywhere on the Golden Sands grounds.



Assigned Parking begins Sunday 6/6/26 through 9/11/26. In Season Check in and Parking instructions:

NO EARLY PARKING or NO EARLY CHECK-INS ***No Early Parking and space numbers are NOT the same as the unit number.

***SATURDAYS ONLY… ****Security Staff will be positioned in the parking lot to give you your parking permit and parking space number at your check in time through 8pm, after 8pm please go to the front desk in the lobby of the Golden Sands building. There is 1 parking space available and Building Policy is a strict No early parking. Vehicles may not be parked or left unattended during the move in or move out process. All vehicles must be parked in your assigned parking space or your vehicle is subject to booting or towing at the vehicle owner’s expense. Parking tags must be displayed at all times. ***No Early Parking and space numbers are NOT the same as the unit number.

***SUNDAY through FRIDAY…June 6th, 2026 through September 11th, 2026 ****Please see the front desk in the lobby of the Golden Sands for your parking permit at your check in time. Please have your check in email ready for staff. ***



Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Great Space for Families

We love the golden sands because of the location and amenities and this unit is excellent. Two smart TV’s, AC pumps great, bathrooms come with shampoo/conditioner/bodywash, styled well and very clean. Unit also has two chairs that you can take to the beach which is helpful. Great for our family of four!

The unit was very clean and styled nicely. It was very up to date and had plenty of room. It was in a great location but still within close distance to anything we wanted to do. I loved the tiki bar and courtyard events. It was a great trip and I would love to return again!

Simple but elegant rental

The room is simple but elegant not overbearing with beach decor. Stunning hanging kitchen light. Not too big not too small it was perfect. I.don't give 5 stars to anything because always room for improvement some where some day. I enjoyed my stay.

Great location

Golden Sands has great amenities, and within walking distance to shopping, Food Lion and Acme, dining, public library, churches, and a movie theater. Condo 302 is OK, not the most up-to-date furnishing, but nothing that would prevent you from having a great time. You can enjoy the ocean view from the balcony and the master bedroom. The second room is very dark as its window opens to the hallway. Golden Sands has two pools, one on the top floor, gym, misc courts, and other great services. I recommend this place.

Great vacation! More than expected!

The online description was very accurate, except it did not list a number of other amenities that we were pleasantly surprised to find! We arrived on a Wednesday late afternoon, and there was a DJ on the patio, and when we wandered down, we found a Tiki Bar with a full menu, a ice cream shop, a small convenience store and an arcade! We were very tired from our travel and it was great to roll in and not have to go far to find dinner. Everything was super clean, the staff very friendly. The whole reason to come to OC is the beach, and the location with easy beach access, plus all these added amenities made for a great trip. Our condo was also fabulous. Very clean, the perfect size and with a well-outfitted kitchen.

Pros: This was a beautiful vacation for our family. Great view of the ocean. The tennis courts and pools are perfect. Beds were comfortable and this unit has plenty of space. Also, the colors are nicely coordinated, which made it more relaxing. This unit has a fresh look that is updated and sophisticated. Cons: The couch was not comfy but neither is the one back home. 400 a night is higher than we used to pay with CB. Flies kept coming in the unit, somewhere from ground level.

A wonderful unit. Good, kitchen equipment. Clean, good layout. Plenty of pillows. Always nervous if pictures are accurate, but unit exceeded our expectations. Would have liked a towel rack by sink in master bath. Not Vacasa fault, but elevators were always failing. Glad unit was on third floor so we could use stairs as needed. Great place to stay - 2 grandparents, 2 parents, 2 kids.

Nice place guest relations needs help

The place was great the guest requests for broken things reported within 24 hours of arrival were not fixed. We had a broken chair a ceiling fan that wouldn’t work and a keurig coffee pot that didn’t work. All were reported and none were taken care of while we were there. Also a security guard entered our room one of the days we were there without our permission. We had put the hallway runner on the balcony while vacumning the sand from the floor and the security guard walked in and when my son asked thru him out he told us to get the rug off the balconey.
