Lakefront Paradise

Beautiful setting, the lake was wonderful and the house was super clean. Great check in process. Definitely would love to go back again!

Property was nice with a view that could be amazing if more of the trees were tended too. The house was nice and beds comfy.Couch a little worn and the downstairs bedroom had a vine/weed growing inside. Lake was crystal clear and would be awesome if there was a wider beach and some chairs down there. Loads of towels which was great. Beach chairs which was nice. Extra refrigerator in basement good.

Great spot

This home was beautiful , inside and out.The living space inside was spacious.and comfortable The outside patio, with the jacuzzi and fire pit , was a great place to relax. And the lake was spectacular. Water was clean. Great for exploring,swimming,and fishing.

Overall the house was very clean, it had everything we needed. However the landscaping needed attention. Example: Downstairs there was a vine from outside growing through the window where the window AC was. Hot tub was not working. Called management & service man was sent. Problem was resolved quickly. Location of property was terrific.

This was an eclectic lake house located about 10-15 minutes from Barnstable and Hyannis on Cape Cod. Very convenient to grocery, restaurants and the rest of the western Cape. Kitchen was well equipped with everything you need. Beds comfy and it was clean and ready.If I have any advice for the owner's (perhaps for next season): it would be good to spend some money on landscaping around the house and down by the lake. It is a great lot with almost no water access due to overgrowth. My son fished but swam out to the platform. Very pretty lake. This place would be outstanding with a dock and better views.Otherwise, I definitely recommend this as a house as a good family spot on the Cape.

Awesome

Thank you so much for the wonderful stay. Everything was so close and we went to Hyannis a bunch. Spent another day at Water Wizz! Lake swimming was a no go because of the Canadian Geese droppings but that was the ONLY downfall. We recommend this property to all!

Mermaids Rest offers a pass to the lake side beach and passes to the ocean beaches

Both Trader Joes and Whole Foods are handy for groceries. On the rainy day we went to the movies. Also we went to a different beach each day. Never bored. Plenty of space in the house.

We had an amazing time at this property. It was so close to Hyannis and there was so much to do. We spent a day at Water Wizz and even took a trip to Chatham to see the seals. The property was so clean and every single picture was exactly how the property looked. There was so much room for the six of us. The only drawback at no fault to anyone was the Canadian Geese droppings on the dock. My children and I swam out to the dock only to be surprised by that. We didn’t swim in the lake after that , but it didn’t matter. Craigville beach was only five minutes away! Thank you so much for everything , we would definitely stay here again.
