Just minutes from downtown Rockland, this scenic retreat boasts an 80's ambiance with vintage furniture styling, while offering all the contemporary comforts of home. A full kitchen has everything you need to cook some of Maine's famous seafood. Both the eat-in kitchen and formal dining area provide ample seating while offering picture-perfect views of Penobscot Bay. After the day's activities, unwind with family and friends in the living room, where a gas fireplace adds a warm glow to chilly weather. Additional perks include free WiFi, cable TV, a private washer/dryer, and a gas grill for outdoor cooking.

Above Expectations

Our family had a wonderful stay at Tideview! We enjoyed dinner in the backyard every night to soak up the amazing view. The place had everything we needed with 2 adults and 2 kids.

Rockland house

The house was in a superb location with fabulous water views. Very comfortable; we were three women and had our own very comfortable bedrooms. Well equipted house. easy to access and use everything. Walked everywhere. Only suggestion would be to have some more comfortable outdoor chairs so we could sit outside to enjoy the view. would recommend and definitely rent again if i return there.

The pictures in the listing gave us accurate expectations. The location was very close to Rockland with things to see and great places to eat. The harbor view was spectacular, dozens of boats both sail and power were on display. There was a small beach (not a bathing beach) less than 5 min walk away. The house was only 100 ft from the water's edge and. It was very comfortable and spotless. Fixtures and appliances were all first rate and working. The spotting scope at the living room window was a real plus. The neighborhood was very quiet and there was no traffic on the short access road from the main road. We had a great time!

House was warm, cozi and perfect for our family. Love that it had twin beds in one room - so much better for teens than a single double/queen bed. Was perfect place to hunker down in the snow. We were visiting friends, but it was lovely and my mom enjoyed the view and fireplace while recovering from catching something over the holidays. Definately will visit again when in the area.

Of course the most outstanding thing about this property was the view. There was nothing more restful than sitting in a recliner with the fireplace going and looking out at the bay. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

The Tideview home was perfect for our group. The view and accommodations were awesome. Proximity to all of the amazing cities and site’s in Maine was excellent. Overall it was a great vacation.

Beautiful view!!! Very clean-met all our needs! Very comfortable beds! Only wish there was a deck off the main level to sit outside in the morning and evening as the sun came up and went down but other than that, loved it!!

Lovely Apartment in Perfect Location

We loved the property and especially watching the sunrise each morning right from the living. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. The 2nd bathroom had a tub only, which was a bit inconvenient for our group. Would stay again.

A wonderful view

The house was exactly as advertised. It’s very well maintained and very well appointed. But, the best part is the view. Also, very close to Rockland center and all the activities there. We were very happy with our stay.

Coastal trip

Very nice place with a million dollar view out the living room window. It was very clean and a nice neighborhood. Right on the water. Two couples and was comfortable for us. I would definitely stay there again.

An Excellent Waterfront house in Owls Head.

The property was just as described in the listing and accompanying photos, which is not always the case in our experience. The location is very close to all the restaurants and other must-sees in the Rockland area, and the view of the bay and harbor from inside the house is extraordinary. The configuration of the house is very user friendly, and having available AC is a real plus.
