Börfink is located right in the heart of the relatively new Hunsrück Hochwald National Park, and the Alte Mühle is a traditional inn right here in town. If you enjoy peace and quiet and love taking lovely walks or hikes, then you’ve come to the right place. Perhaps you’d also just like to sit on the lawn below the house, enjoy nature, and read a good book. This is a place where you can slow down—if you’d like to. There’s a bakery and butcher shop 10 minutes away by car in Brücken, and you can find all your daily necessities in Birkenfeld or Hermeskeil (about 15 minutes away by car). Cell phone reception is available with Vodafone, and we have strong fiber-optic internet with good Wi-Fi here.
Pets are allowed. Please let your host know if you’re bringing a pet!



The vacation rental is about 55 m² and was nicely renovated in 2021. It’s furnished with a double bed and a sleeper sofa (for 2 people). And if you’re feeling a bit tense when you arrive, you can treat yourself to a massage in the massage chair.
There are a few books, a PlayStation 3, and some movies for a cozy evening.
Otherwise, you’re welcome to use the patio behind the house and round out the evening with a barbecue or a campfire.
