The vacation home is an old farmhouse that we have renovated over the past few years with great attention to detail. Parts of the exterior were left in their original condition to preserve its charm. This includes the approximately 200-year-old barn. It has three stories. The first floor remains in its original condition. The middle floor has been completely remodeled as a living area. A bathroom with a rain shower is just one of its special features. Two bedrooms—one with a double bed, the other with a double bed and a rollaway bed—as well as a kitchen-living room with a pull-out couch provide space for up to 7 people. The upper floor is now fully finished and locked off; it can be booked as an add-on for an additional fee if needed, though it does not have a separate entrance. It features a balcony room with four beds, a double room with a rollaway bed, and a bathroom with a shower and toilet, all offering a magnificent view of the surrounding greenery. In total, the Woidhaus can comfortably accommodate 11 adults. Approximately 5,000 square meters of meadows surround the house, offering plenty of space to play or relax. Take a seat at the large, cozy table in the kitchen-diner or make yourself comfortable on our “Gredbäng” and enjoy your vacation. Our house is a smoke-free home, but smoking is permitted outdoors! Unfortunately, pets must remain outside. Payment must be made in cash or by bank transfer prior to arrival. Check-in is from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM; check-out is by 10:00 AM. Keys will be handed over in person on-site after we check the electricity meter together. Heating, hot water, the air conditioning system (with heating or cooling functions), kitchen appliances, and lighting are all powered by electricity; the house can also be heated with wood, which is available while supplies last. The split firewood is intended for the wood-burning stove in the Woidhaus and must not be used for campfires. Separate wood scraps are available for outdoor campfires; please feel free to ask. Pets are not allowed. Crib: available upon request; Extra bed: available. Note: The upper floor is not wheelchair accessible due to steep stairs. For groups of up to 4 people, please specify whether more than 2 bedrooms—i.e., the upper floor—are needed. For groups of 5–11 people, the upper floor is automatically accessible. A visitor’s tax per person per night will be charged on site. (1.70 EUR for guests 16 and older, 0.90 EUR for children between 6 and 15 years old; children 5 and under are free.) A linen rental package is included: (one hand towel and one large bath towel each, fitted sheet, oversized duvet cover, pillowcase, and dish towels) Security deposit of 400 EUR in cash upon arrival or via advance bank transfer, to be refunded within 8 days after departure. Electricity costs based on usage as of February 2023: 0.47 EUR per kWp. We reserve the right to adjust rates based on electricity market conditions at the time of your stay!
