2BD/2BA Dog Friendly Cabin in a Great Location with Amazing Mountain Views!

Our cabin "Tennessee Moonlight" is a beautiful getaway with amazing views of the Smoky Mountains. Located just minutes from the Pigeon Forge parkway, Dollywood, and a short drive to Gatlinburg, there are plenty of attractions nearby for everyone! The cabin has 1300+ sqft of space and is ideal for a family of 6 or 2 adult couples. We have a full kitchen, living room, game room, master bedroom with king bed, guest bedroom with queen bed, sleeper sofa, 2 decks with mountain views, and a hot tub.

The space
Whether you are visiting for days or weeks, you will find everything you need in our spacious two story cabin. Each level has balconies overlooking the mountains that are perfect for enjoying your morning coffee, a good book, or simply relaxing. After you spend the day hiking in the nearby Smoky Mountains or exploring the shops in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge; you will love relaxing in the hot tub under the stars or in the master bedroom jacuzzi. Our cabin is also equipped with a full kitchen, washer/dryer, iron, two full bathrooms, and a brand new (May 2022) HVAC unit to keep you cool in the summer months and warm in the winter months!

Living Room: The TV is equipped with cable and a smart cable box with apps giving you access to your favorite sports, news sources, and alternative streaming services such as Netflix and Hulu. The couch pulls out into a full size sofa bed. Additional blankets and pillows can be found stored inside the chase portion of the couch. The fireplace is turned on during the winter months.

***Please note. As of 9/30/2025 the fireplace is currently out of order and may not be working for your stay. Please let us know if you have any questions about the fireplace or anything else.***

Kitchen: You will find all the necessary appliances in the kitchen including coffee makers (normal and Keurig), microwave, oven, and dishes. Essentials such as paper towels, dish soap, and dish detergent pods will be supplied as starter supplies. Guests will need to bring their own cooking ingredients (food, salt, pepper, oil, etc).

Game Room: Guests of all ages will find entertainment in our game room including an arcade machine with 40 retro games and a foosball table.

Main Level Deck: Just outside the game room, you will find the main level deck with a picnic table large enough for family meals and gatherings as well as the hot tub. All with beautiful views of the mountains.

Please Note: The hot tub is drained, cleaned, refilled with clean, filtered well water, and new chemicals added between each guest. Because it is well water, sometimes the coloring looks a little off, but the water is perfectly clean! If you have any questions about the hot tub or water, please let us know!

Main Level Bedroom: Here you will find an inviting queen size bed and a tv equipped with Roku, giving you access to all your favorite streaming apps. There is also a dresser and closet with full size mirror.

Main Level Bathroom: A full bathroom with an updated walk in shower (with corner seat) is located just outside the main level bedroom and comes stocked with soap, shampoo, toilet paper, and towels as starter supplies.

2nd Floor Bedroom and Bathroom: The upstairs bedroom has a cozy king size bed, full bathroom with updated walk in shower, and jacuzzi bathtub. The tv is equipped with Roku, giving you access to all your favorite streaming apps and the bathroom comes stocked with essentials as starter supplies, as well as a hair dryer. Upstairs you will also find access to the private deck with rocking chairs and amazing views.

Guest access
Guests have full access to the entire cabin!

Other things to note
Pet Friendly:
Up to two well behaved dogs are allowed with a $75 pet cleaning fee. We cannot accommodate cats or other pets. Guests are required to let us know of pets prior to arriving and the pet fee will be requested after you're booked, before your check-in date. Dogs are required to be crated if left in the cabin alone. Guests are responsible for any damages caused by their dogs.

Fireplace:
On During Winter Months: October 1st - March 31st
Off During Summer Months: April 1st - September 30th

TV Entertainment:
All TVs are connected to a smart device that gives you access to all your favorite streaming apps such as Netflix, Hulu, Spotify, etc...Guests have to sign in using their own accounts and are responsible for signing out of their accounts.

Rules:
Minimum booking age is 25. No parties, no smoking indoors, and no illegal activities allowed on the premises. Do not stand on the picnic table or any outdoor furniture. Violation of rules can lead to additional fees or immediate removal from the property and you will forfeit the entire booking fee.

Weather and Additional Cancellation Notes:
During the winter months, there can be snow and/or ice sometimes. Our HOA does a good job of keeping the roads salted, but occasionally it may take extra time to get a salt truck to the community due to high demand. Fortunately, our cabin is on a flat road, but the entrance before turning on our road is a short, medium sloped hill. In these conditions, we recommend following local travel advice, and we are not able to give refunds for weather conditions, natural disasters, or any other reasons. We recommend having travel insurance, especially if you think you may have to cancel for any reasons. We have not had any issues during these weather conditions with our 2WD cars, but please reach out to us if you have any questions.

Insects and Lady Bugs:
As common in the woods, insects and lady bugs may be around. We use family and pet safe methods to keep the insects and lady bugs out but sometimes they do get in. In the colder months you may see lady bugs inside the house as they sneak into the warm environment. They can swept up and relocated outside as our cleaning team does between every clean. Please let us know if you have any questions.

Security:
There is one floodlight/security camera on the front porch facing the entrance and parking area for added safety.
