Surrounded by nature, sip coffee on the porch while listening to the soft sounds of the nearby creek, then unwind by the fire pit beneath glowing string lights. The perfect place to relax, yet just minutes from local restaurants, wineries, breweries, hiking, the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds, Lake Chatuge, and more!

Escape to Whispering Creek Retreat, a cozy mountain cabin tucked away in the peaceful woods of Hiawassee, Georgia. Designed for relaxation and reconnection, this charming cabin offers the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort.

Sip your morning coffee on the covered porch while listening to the soft, whispering sounds of the nearby creek, spend evenings gathered around the private fire pit beneath glowing string lights, and unwind in a warm, inviting space surrounded by nature.

Inside, you’ll find warm wood interiors, cozy furnishings, a comfortable sleeping space, and thoughtful touches throughout that create the perfect atmosphere for a romantic getaway or peaceful mountain escape. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything needed for cooking, whether you’re preparing a simple breakfast or a cozy dinner in the mountains. A BBQ grill with grilling essentials is also provided for guests who want to enjoy cooking outdoors.

Perched on a peaceful hillside, the cabin is located less than half a mile up a well-maintained road with easy paved access into town. 2WD vehicles are fine, and the cabin is GPS friendly and easy to find - even after dark. The stairs leading to the front door are lit at night for easy access.

Located a short distance from hiking trails, Lake Chatuge, the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds, local wineries, breweries, and the charming Bavarian-inspired town of Helen, you’ll have easy access to adventure while still feeling tucked away in your own private retreat.

Beautiful mountain cabin located definitely in woods. If you’re looking for a place to relax and rest definitely the place. Beautifully decorated, and clean as a pen. Definitely a place to get away from the crowds, and fast pace life. Wonderful host and all accommodations on site.
