Schmidtler's Nest - Schmidtler's Nest Vacation Apartment

At the gateway to the Tegernsee Valley.


In the heart of the Bavarian Oberland lies our cozy, 50-square-meter, non-smoking ground-floor apartment.


The apartment is located in the annex of our over 200-year-old, historic farmhouse
and consists of a kitchen-living room, a bedroom with a sofa bed, a bathroom with a tub, and a separate toilet.

It is equipped with everything you need for daily life, including bed linens as well as hand and bath towels.

A 70x140 cm crib can be set up upon request.
The entire apartment is equipped with infrared heaters.
You’re welcome to use the wood-burning stove.


The parking spot is almost right at the front door. 



Munich, Garmisch, Rosenheim, and Austria are all less than an hour away by car.

The area is perfect for hiking, biking, taking walks, or simply relaxing.

Our village is rural yet very centrally located, and the nearby farm has cows, chickens, goats, and horses.

The cozy south-facing terrace with seating and a grill invites you to relax.

The non-smoking apartment is lovingly furnished and equipped with everything you need for daily use.

You’re also welcome to light the wood-burning stove in the kitchen-diner.

The bedroom features a 2x2m double bed and a TV with satellite connection.


There is a parking space right outside the door, and bike racks are also available.
