Your own slice of waterfront paradise awaits in this stylishly updated ranch home. Those looking for tranquility will love the setting, 13 miles outside of Sandpoint on the Pend Oreille River. Spend the morning on deck with coffee, and the afternoon on the dock enjoying the spectacular sunsets. Inside, you'll find a stylishly updated space with a layout perfect for both spending quality time together and privacy. The main bedroom suite, separated from the other three bedrooms, features direct deck access, a small seating area and en suite bathroom. The full kitchen offers plenty of workspace and all the appliances, smaller gadgets, and accessories you need to whip up feast. The dining table seats 10, or you can keep it casual and pull up a barstool at the kitchen island.

When it's time to head out, there are lots of hiking trails nearby, and Sandpoint is an easy drive or boat ride away. If you're visiting in the winter, make use of the convenient storage area in the garage for your skis and snowboards. In the evening, turn on the electric fireplaces for added ambiance and grab one of the many puzzles or games out of the guest room closet to play together. More entertainment options include three TVs, a DVD player and library, as well as a Playstation 2 and Super Nintendo. Spend time in the yard with one of the many outdoor games available, including ring toss, Yardzee, badminton, and lawn darts. End the night gathered around the fire pit by the water, trading stories about the day – and making plans for another great vacation day tomorrow.

Great place to stay on the water! I would bring your own firewood for the fire pit, it isn’t provided and the nearest town is 20 min away. There is a cute shack open sometimes down the road that is a self serve for firewood which is great. Also bring bottled water. Water out of the tap isn’t pleasant at all. Overall a fun place to hang out.

My family and I stayed at the property for a few days and it was perfect. The area is very quiet with beautiful views. The house is surprisingly spacious and well set out. It was equipped with everything you could possibly need.

Large family staycation

Perfect, beautiful and peaceful stay with every amenity available for a large family. Ponderay Walmart delivers to this remote VRBO, so there was no need to leave. We played all the interior and exterior games, we used the dock for our wave runners, small pontoon boat, and paddle boats. This home supplies everything you could need or want for a family staycation. We will be back next year hopefully.

Feels like home

This quiet, relaxing, beautiful home feels like a home away from home. Eating on the deck, swimming off the shoreline, napping in the hammock, fishing off the dock, roasting marshmallows around the campfire with a sunset view……. I can not get enough of this place!!!!! My family stayed here for 4 nights and it is the perfect location to unwind and destress. We swam, we napped, we shopped and we made amazing memories. Thank you for sharing your property with us! Highly recommend staying here!!

River Front getaway

Stock up food at the store and kick back and relax. Enjoy your time and family right here. No need to go anywhere. This place is awesome. The house is fully stocked with anything and everything you will need for all ages. From kitchen/cooking to board games and outdoor activity games. Comes with a nice dock to hang in the water. My family loved ate time here. We will be back for sure. Host was great, price was excellent and Idaho is legit.

Great location but not yet ready for the season

Beautiful view. Great neighborhood. Outdoor furniture not on deck and deck not clean, full of pine needles. Grill interior very rusted and dirty. Short supply of linens. Guest shower/tub slow to drain. Nicely furnished. Well equipped kitchen. Haul out your trash to specified dump sites.

Great place for the price - far from Schweitzer

Relatively far from Sandpoint and Schweitzer, but good value for the money. Beds were good quality. Heating system was quite loud when it turned on but keep the house warm. Showers are ok with good water pressure, toilets are small and low, towels not great. Kitchen well equipped with dishwasher and clothes washer tabs provided. No access to the garage which would have been appreciated.

Family weekend

Great home. Awesome views and great porch with a lot of lounge chairs, big table for dining. A lot of umbrellas for shade. Great fire pit with everything you need for a great time. Great deck. Had everything we needed. Would definitely go again. Would be great if you kept mayo/mustard/ketchup in fridge, but definitely had all the other cooking necessities. We couldn’t use the grill because it was so dirty, but other than that everything was fantastic. Thank you.

Lots of space--but AC listing misleading

Lots of space and seating options for our group. Be warned though--a portable AC unit in the kitchen does not do the job of cooling a house that large in the middle of summer. The property description lists in the conveniences section "AC", not "partial AC", so it felt a little misleading.

Perfect getaway!

The dock was the big hit of our stay! From morning coffee to jumping off the dock for an evening swim, our teens loved the ease of jumping on our jetski, taking off on the paddleboard or just fishing off the dock! Just make sure you have a fishing license. Our 3 kids also loved each having their own room! Well-equipped kitchen, BBQ and fire pit were well-used if you have all your food. We settled in and didn’t want to have to drive 20 minutes to go back to town. We managed to squeeze in 3 precious days cause it was fully booked, but we’d come back for longer next time. Thank you for the memories!

A week of bliss!

My family stayed a week at this beautiful home. We were a family of 5 (myself, husband, 4 yr old son, 16 yr old daughter and 65 yr old mother) We had a wonderful time! We kayaked, paddle boarded, fished, swam, shopped and had a bonfire every evening. We ate outside on the deck every night for dinner. The view of the lake is stunning! We spent the week of July 4th here and watched fireworks over the lake in every direction. We also went into Sandpoint to City Beach to watch the celebratory show! The home is comfortable and relaxing. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals. The beds are comfortable and plenty of space for everyone. There is an A/c unit that helps cool the place down but if you are smart and open all the windows at night, and close it up in the morning, the home stays super cool all day. I highly recommend checking into this location for a vacation. It was so much fun and stress free!

River Front, Sagle, Idaho

Great location for our family. Priest River waterfront. Dock and a separate swim dock. Be aware it is difficult to enter the water. There are ladders but the one on the dock is not installed correctly making the steps difficult. The other option is rocky and quite slippery. The house is roomy, and a lot of attention was given to decorations and supplies in the kitchen was impressive. The master bedroom bed is a king and comfy. The queen beds in the other bedrooms need new mattress' One is just a foam pad and the other you slide to the center. The room with twin beds is great for children. Be aware there is no AC. The home had 3 fans and a window AC unit in the kitchen. Idaho is HOT in the summer so would recommend mini splits? Cleaning was adequate but could be better. Overall, we would rent it again.

Nice location, but long drive from highway.

Unless you plan on only staying in rental, plan on 25 min.rural drive from highway to home. Location was beautiful; right on river, kayak and paddle board were great amenities. Poor lighting in kitchen, low watt bulbs throughout house. Nightly deer visits. Very relaxing and peaceful location.

Home away

This home is very well kept. It's truly a home away from home. Walking in is so welcoming. The water front is amazing and instant peace. Even comes with water sport equipment to use. Water is perfect for the paddle boarding, or the hammock to watch the boats. It is also close enough to town for shopping 15- 20 mins to drive, or shorter to boat in! It was a perfect get away to let the stress go!

Amazing

Awesome place to stay and relax.  This little piece of paradise has something for everyone: ·         Want to sit and read a book – there is a perfect little hammock for you. ·         Want to do some water sports – there are paddle boards to use with easy access to the water by using the stone steps. ·         Want to fish -  there is a beautiful dock you can catch fish off of. ·         Want to dine outside -  there is a large deck with tables and sitting area. ·         Want to make some s’mores – there is a fire pit with plenty of chairs. ·         Want to stay inside -  the living room and dining are roomy and have views of the lake and screened patio doors that can be opened.   It is a nice quiet spot to take a break and recharge with beautiful views of the lake.  Lots of room for friends and family with spacious and comfortable bedrooms.   I highly recommend staying here and would go back again!

Beautiful lake front escape

Being right on the lake complete with boat dock, slips and a floating raft and a hammock for all ages. The deck was absolutely huge and each area of the house had a gorgeous view of the water. Outdoor seating areas were many and the entire stay was awesome. I would rate this property as a must book.

Rest and relax with an amazing lake view

This gem of a vacation home is a bit off the beaten path (20 mins from town) but you will truly feel like you are away from it all. The view is breathtaking. The waterfront is easy to access (steps right into the water) or drive off the dock. The home has everything you could possibly need. Great sized bedrooms and living space. The large deck and grassy yard is were you will spend all your time. Our family of 5 was so happy with our stay here. We will book again for next summer.

Lovely and relaxing stay

We absolutely loved staying at this beautiful home! It’s so calming and relaxing. The house is gorgeous. The views are amazing. The beds are super comfy, kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need, plenty of space to read a book on the deck, sun tan in a lounge chair, or watch a movie on a rainy day. I love how quiet it is, especially at night. It’s the perfect place to escape a busy city! There are a few water toys (kayak and paddle board), a fire pit, hammock, water dock and rock stairs that go down to the water. I highly recommend this property if you are looking for fun AND relaxation!
