Trailhead Lodge 2126 is a family-friendly, three-bedroom condo with all the comforts of a home away from home. This retreat features a fully-equipped kitchen complete with granite counters and stainless steel appliances. The living area offers guests comfortable furnishings, a convenient gas fireplace, and access to the private balcony overlooking the valley. This mountain abode offers guests four flatscreen TVs, a DVD player, and free WiFi for their enjoyment and entertainment. There is also a private washer and dryer (detergent provided) for your convenience. The main bedroom features a king bed and an attached bathroom with double vanity and a walk-in shower. The second bedroom also has a king bed and an additional attached bathroom. There are two twin beds in the third bedroom and another full bathroom. There is also a queen sleeper sofa in the living area.

Located less than three miles from the heart of Steamboat Springs and all of its wonderful dining and entertainment options and trailheads, this is the perfect place to be!

Enjoy having access to the amazing amenities right next door at Wildhorse Meadows, which include a large heated outdoor pool, three hot tubs, a fitness center, a game room, an outdoor firepit, and access to the Wildhorse Gondola. On-call shuttle service is also available.

In addition to Wildhorse amenities, you and your beloved friends will also have access to Trailhead Lodge's amenities, including a picnic area with grills and firepit, a boot drying room, ski rack storage, and many more!

This is our third year in a row staying at the Trailhead. The main reason we book there is because we go in July and Steamboat is super hot and all the units have central air conditioning.

Great property. 3 bed and 3 bath layout is great for a family. Spacious kitchen and great amenities (pool, hot tub, gym). Gondola is a great way to access the base without driving.

Awesome Property

This was a great property! One of the cleanest properties we've ever stayed at and we've been staying in VRBO's for 15 plus years!!! Having a bathroom connected to every room was so helpful. The beautiful glass doors in the living room area made the view and patio so nice. It was a big plus that it faced the side where the sun wasn't beating in the windows.

Wonderful condo, lots of space and beautifully decorated. Super convenient access to the wildhorse gondola just outside the building. Awesome heated pool and hot tubs on site. The only con: we had no hot water the two nights we were there until late in the evening the night before we left. It was a building wide issue —cold showers are never fun. 😒

Second Stay in this Unit

This corner unit has the best layout in the building in my opinion. As this was our second stay, we did notice some items that need attention. The bedding (comforter) is lightweight and covered by a sheet on either side. It gets very cold in Steamboat and these were not sufficient to stay warm at night. No additional blankets were provided. Front desk stated additional blankets would need to be provided by the owner of the unit. Comcast tv was available but two of the four remotes had dead batteries. Didn't feel like bothering the front desk to ask for more. Some of the cooking pans are very used and the handle was falling off of one of them. If you need extra towels you will also need to ask. The bare minimum is provided upon check in. Despite some of the easily addressed items mentioned above, this unit is probably one of the nicest in the building. This lodge is operating at 100% now and the wear and tear will come much quicker now. Thanks for the stay!

The location is fabulous ! The Wildhorse gondola is so easy and helpful to get to the mountain. The condo was top notch with beautiful windows and view of snowy field. Very quiet, love the hot tubs. Friendly and helpful !

Great place!

The unit is very clean, quiet and has everything you need! We enjoyed the patio area (although lounge furniture on the patio would be a nice addition). Only complaint is the amenities. Many pieces of equipment in the fitness room were not functioning. Also, there were NO lights in the pool or surrounding area. It was extremely dark for evening swimming and hard to get around in the dark. Not safe at all. No fault of the individual unit owners, but the property management needs to fix some things. We did really enjoy our stay, though, and we’re pleased with the overall experience.

Super family stay!

We couldn't have been happier! Check in, parking, location all easy peasy! Best of all was the spacious 3 bedroom unit! Perfect for the grandparents here to bring the grands for a few days of hiking, alpine slide, and indoor games. The heated pool outside was enjoyed by all of us! Already looking at the calendar for our next stay there!

Wonderful place, but heat was terrible

I hate to leave a bad review as the condo was gorgeous and the location wonderful. We would have given it 5 stars however the heat in the condo was unbearable. When turned completely off it was still 73-74 degrees, and that was with us opening doors windows to cool down. It made sleeping very difficult. Maintenance was called multiple times but it only made the problem worse - we once walked in and the heat was blasting at 80 degrees after they “fixed it.” Seems like they just gave up, so we just kept having to cool the place down by opening doors and windows. Once this is fixed for good, I would recommend the condo to anybody. But for what we paid it made for an uncomfortable experience.

3 br, 3baths, up to date, needs more pots and pans. Town was crowded and had trouble with reservations and takeouts.

Good Place, starting to show wear

Very good location at Steamboat! We always enjoy this location. This property is becoming a bit worn, furniture stains, floor scratches, lamps broken are becoming a bit of a challenge, particularly for the price we paid. This property charges a premium but it's probably worth discounting a bit for the age.
